Well, then I guess they were released!!  Nice score on the new figures, btw.

Someone told me at another forum that the Battle Troll shipped with the rotocast Eomer.  I had seen the Eomer, but never the troll.  And since Toy Biz doesn't really show what's current on any of their cardbacks, and their site it terribly out of date, who would have known?

As for the figures, the Isildur looks great.  This is one figure I've been hoping they would make ever since The Fellowship Of The Ring came out.  I'm just a little surprised that they didn't include 2 accessories with Isildur.  First, the shard or Narsil.  Second, the One Ring.  Those would have been such natural accessories to pack in with this figure.

Where did you find them Nick, regular retail or a comic-type store?

Apparently Jackson is commanding $30+ right now on evilbay ::)  Show some patience people.

Regular retail.  There's been such an influx there due to the holidays that I'm actually finding some stuff.

I saw the rest of the new FOTR wave except for the PJ hobbit.  They all look really good.  Getting Peter Jackson would be pretty cool though.

Thanks.  Are you just seeing the Fellowship stuff, or is the TTT stuff around too?

I've heard reports that the new TTT figures are showing up, but I haven't seen them yet.  I also just recently got the new ROTK wave with Gorbag, Denethor, Citadel Guard & Prologue Smeagol.

Well, the LOTR section has officially disappeared at our local TRU now.  Stopped in there yesterday to check things out, and the endcap that used to be full of old Gollums and some of the figure packs has now been replaced with some other toys (not even action figures, not sure exactly what it was).  I saw a few of the box sets now scattered in the action figure aisle, but not really having a specific "spot".  Hopefully the line will make a comeback at this store after the holidays at least.

Wal-Mart had quite a few LOTR figures on the pegs, but just older Trilogy packs, mostly from FOTR.  Hopefully newer stuff starts showing up pretty soon.

It looks like the Pelennor and Lothlorien gift packs are up for preorder on Amazon.com now, if anyone is interested or wants to try their luck :).

BBTS has a new preorder up:

Pre-Order - Scheduled to arrive in June/July - Scheduled to contain 1 each of: Aragorn, Frodo with Book, Gandalf in Robes, Gondorian Archer, Legolas, Mordor Orc, Witch King, Eowen

Hmmm...seems like either a new scale or they are starting to redo figures :-\

And...if you get TTT Series 4 up there I need:

Theodred
Dungeons of Isengard Orc Captain
Uruk-Hai Warrior - Shagrat
Gates of Mordor Sam
Hama

Dang, I left a Gates of Mordor Sam on the pegs yesterday :-\  These waves showed up and I did find you a Shagrat and Hama, as well as Peter Jackson, but no Orc Captain and Beth gets the first Theodred.

I seem to have extras of the Minas Tirith Citadel Guard and Gorbag if anyone needs them.  I was out yesterday and had everyone's list written on a piece of paper.  Naturally I left the paper in the office rather than taking it with me ::)

I did pick up my first ever little person/Hobbit yesterday - Sam in Orc armor.  I'd only ever seen it locally in the larger, half moon package and for a whopping $12.97.  It's in this assortment (ROTK) at the cheaper price in smaller packaging and as a bonus comes with a talking base.  Very nice.  Now, if they can release some other Hobbitses with new accessories I'm in.

I saw the Sam, but I passed.  I want pretty much everything else in that wave except him.

Gates of Mordor Sam
Theodred
Orc Captain

Yes, you read it right.  Sam's around, should be able to pick one up.  Theodred too.  But that Orc Captain I have yet to happen upon >:(  I found Beth a Hama, why can't I find this guy :-\

Have a good hunting day coming up on Wednesday, hopefully then.  If not, I'll send out the box as is.

Hamma's lame.  The guy gets eaten by a Warg before the Rohirrim even make it to Helm's Deep.

Hey, I don't question completeist's motives.  I do own three different Jar Jar figures, how is he less lame than Hama? :P

A short pack is a short pack, always happy to find them.  Especially for someone else.
