We can find a speck on mars but not that Jet that crashed in the ocean?

It took 11 and a half years to find the speck on Mars and it's not at the bottom of an ocean.

Don't worry, now that Ted Cruz is in charge of NASA we won't be able to find anything!

Nah it's just on another planet without massive naval aerial and orbital searches for even debris.   :D

I spent two hours trying to find Lovejoy, last night. Finally gave up and stared at Jupiter. With my telescope I can make out three rings and about five moons.

The ocean can be a real sonuvabitch when it comes to downed aircraft searches.  Even when searchers knew the vicinity of where Air France flight 447 went down in the South Atlantic on a flight from Brazil to Paris, it took 2 YEARS to recover the flight data recorders.  The Malaysian Air incident is that much worse because it seems like someone on the flight crew went rogue and wanted to down the plane in one of the most inaccessible parts of ocean on the planet.

Back on topic, researchers have released findings that there may be two more planetary bodies in the Kuiper belt beyond Pluto.

Second girl looks like she'd have two distinct gravitational fields.  Strong ones.

There's a "trench run" remark in there somewhere, but I'll refrain.

Anyone else been able to observe Comet Lovejoy?  It's just below Taurus in the night sky.  I had to use binoculars to see it clearly.
This is the way.

I have spoken.
