Well, my team finally went off this week (and would have done better had a I kept Kevin Curtis and Cadillac Williams in the lineup  :-\ ), but I'm really anxious about Antonio Gates' foot.

Hopefully, I'll still have enough to kick Dressel to the curb later this week...

If Gates sits out Sunday, that makes my boy LaDainian omnipresent, and you will lose.  If Gates is in, it's anyone's game, flip a coin.

Oh, and I'm already kicked to the curb.  The next kick lands me on the double yellow.

You're currently losing by this score:

19.08 to 17.29

So, not badly at this point.  But Scott has 6 guys playing still, you have 2.

It's sure a good thing that we don't get penalized too badly for kickers missing 3 potential game winning FGs in one game. Or I would have negative points this week. ::)

I finally got a good game out of Jamal Lewis!  And go figure, I win a game... Hell even Ricky Williams (started because Fred Taylor is hurt, again...) pitched in with 85 yards and a touchdown.

If only they'd had games like that all year I might be in better shape than I am...

Those were 3 tough field goals, but I still did more screaming at that TV yesterday than I have since the 37 days following the 2000 Presidential election.  That game really hurt the Giants fan.  Put the ball through the uprights for ****'s sake!!

Just to update that Darrell Jackson vs. Andre Johnson debate we had - Darrell Jackson is not going to play in Week 13 and will be used sparingly, if at all, Weeks 14-16 to prevent him from aggravating the surgical site in his knee.  The Seahawks are already in the playoffs and do not need to risk one of their top weapons at this point.

Meanwhile, Andre Johnson received for 156 yards and a TD this weekend, and is back at full strength.

So even if Zods manages to make the playoffs in our league, I doubt Darrell Jackson is a start-able option.

That may resolve the debate in that respect, but there should remain no doubt that my drafting of Johnson in the third round was an absolutely huge error.  One week of production does not make up for sucking **** the preceding 12 weeks.  I did the right thing dropping him.

Yes, it would seem that my rationalization that it would be okay that Andre Johnson was flat-out stolen from me because I'd managed to pick up Jackson didn't pan out like I wanted it to.  Looks like you're little manuever paid off well.  Congrats.

It must be nice to be able to rationalize that it's okay to use a bogus and faulty waiver wire order to take a player from the team that actually was entitled to the player using the waiver order established before the draft.  And then after that logic, you have the balls to say he was "stolen from you".

At any rate, I only wished to debate Andre Johnson vs. Darrell Jackson as a fantasy option, not get into a debate over the league rules and how they were enforced.

Looking forward to my round 1 playoff opponent...

It must be nice to be fortunate enough to notice the problem at the exact time that it benefits you the most and to be the commisoner with the power to make the change, and to have the balls to do so despite the fact that just about every league member who spoke up felt that I was right.

But I didn't mean to accuse you of anything your honor.  I hope that you make it to the second round so that I get a chance to play against you again so I can make it 4 in a row.

Pfft.  Let's see if you even make the postseason.

And be fair, don't start talking about "four in a row" unless you want to also discuss the fact that I thrashed you in both of the other fantasy sports that we participated in....and I mean you got beat about as badly as anyone.
