Lego Mini vehicle line - What do you think?

I saw some pictures of the mini's on another Star Wars related website, and I didn't really care for them. But, being a huge Star Wars and LEGO fan, I'm sure I will buy them all.
Are they available for purchase, and if so where?

This has been reported over at scum that The first 5,000 people from the U.S. that register at the LEGO site, after going from the Starwars.com site will get a FREE Tie Fighter mailed to them!

I just wanted to add to that great tip that the tie fighter is a mini-LEGO kit... not the full size version that they've had out for a while. Nonetheless, it will make an excellent addition to my already nice sized LEGO collection (Star Wars, of course). My mini tie fighter will be here soon!
