Ceramic Cookie Jars
« on: September 6, 2005, 12:50 AM »
I've been searching for some unique Star Wars items, hitting eBay and SWS.com.

StarWarsShop.com has got some great ceramic cookie jars that are actually produced in England by Cards Inc., including the first every officially licensed Darth Vader cookie jar.  Very cool.   8)

*sigh*

Perhaps I WILL order ALL of them. :P

I like them better without the SW logo.

These are pretty cool, I'm thinking of getting one of the R2's, or maybe a Vader.

If you check ebay every so often they have one of the original R2 ceramic cookie jars up for auction.  The prices are usually pretty reasonable.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

If I get one, sadly I'm going to want them all, but I did get the Vader one at Target recently and I have to say that Ceramic Cookie jars are a nice little thing to collect.  They're weighty, seem like quality items...  May be a neat side thing to pick up.

I've got an itch to branch out from figures right now too Jesse and I'm looking for oddball stuff.  Cake pans are something I've always got my eye on so I may be heading that route too, though these ceramic things this year have caught my interest immediately.

Here's the cookie jar to end all cookie jars - a life-size Darth Vader!  It's an exclusive to Blister.jp:  http://www.blister.jp/item3565.html - avilable for 35,000 yen (about $300US).

This may help to put it into perspective:

Now that would be a fun addition to my Vader focus.  ;)

£90 - That's a pretty reasonable price compared to the 35,000 yen from Japan.  The shipping must be a killer though!

The £90 is the price the retailers purchase them at so not sure what they'd cost actually in the shops I'd take a guess at around £150
