Maleval from the cover of Legacy

Closeup of head. I put the black around the eyes to avoid the whole shocked looked.

The robe is a pain to get on and off but here is a pic of some of his armor. The kama is a soft goods Vader kama and the robe is an unknown.

Maleval hood up

Maleval with weapons

Parts:
head-Tessk
body-Koffi
hands-Ketwol
kama-Vader
robe-unknown sith
whip-lightsaber hilt and wire

Another fine piece of work. Lucky that Koffie's chest plate resembles the character, isn't it? :D

When it comes to doing Sith Lords from the Legacy series the challenge is trying to match the armor. Once I saw Koffi I knew that was the one I wanted.

Nice work on your latest one here James. Nice work on the part selection if really seems to match the source image very well. I like how you lined eyes in black to avoid the Malak syndrome. I've found when I do eyes I sometimes like to just line the top but I drop the line down to the top of the iris, rather than the top of the eyeball. Either way works just fine.

I was only going to put the black line above the eye, but was stuck with the shocked look still so I went all away around and was trying to avoid racoon eyes. On this one it came out well.

At FFURG.com they have a Casting Call for the Legacy comic characters. Here are my submissions.

Wolf

Parts:
Agen Kolar Head repainted
Mace Windu body-No sure which one exactly
The lines looked straighter until I took the picture. Will try to fix.

Wolf missing his forearm

Right arm was hollowed out and attached a screw to the inside. The arm is from the Heir to the Empire comic pack Luke with a magnet placed inside.

Wolf's forearm

b]Imperial Officer[/b]

Body-Comic pack Luke
arms-2 Luke right arms
Head-Moff Jerjerod
Upper torso collar/armor -modified cast of Qui-gon training armor

Admiral Sha Dun

Body-Comic pack Luke
head/hands-POTJ Plo Koon
Upper torso collar/armor -modified cast of Qui-gon training armor

Imperial Knight-generic

Head-JvC Wetsuit
Body- E3 Red Royal Guard
Cloak-500th Vader
Arm armor-Cast of Typho armor
Shoulder armor- modified cast of Qui-gon training armor

b]Darth Kryat[/b]

Cade Skywalker

I am thinking of reworking the head a bit by adding the soul pacth on his chin and some stubble.

Head-Tatooine Luke-suggested by Darth Kryat
Body/gunbelt-VOTC Han
Armor-TAC Jango removable armor
Jacket-21st Century soldier
Jacket armor-cast of Clone Commander pauldron
hands-stormtrooper
Legs-Vader

b]JOKER SQUAD[/b]

Sergeant Harkas

Sgt. Harkas is the leader of Joker Squad and was injured in the blast that killed Jes.

I made this guy once before and took the suggestion from that post and added them this time around. All of Joker Squad has dirty armor since thay have seen alot of feild time.

Body-TAC Stormtrooper
Head-BBI Paratrooper

Jes Gistang

Jes is the big Guns operator for the Squad. She was killed when a stray shot hit one of her ammo pouches.

Body-Tac Stormtrooper
Head- Denna Shan
Cannon-Vanguard trooper
ammo pouches-BBI soldiers

Hondo Karr

Hondo is a knife expert and went AWOL after the mission on Yinchorr.

Body-TAC Stormtrooper
Head-JvC Blowtorch

Vax Potorr

Vax is the supply man for the team. Vax was killed by a toe mine.

Body-TAC stormtrooper
Head-BBI paratrooper

Anson Trask

Trask is the "Noob" of the team-hence the clean armor. Trask took the shot that killed Lord Maleval.

Body-TAC stormtrooper
Head- cast of B'Arin Apma with a hair cut
supply pack-parts of BBI backpacks

I like Joker squad because they showed a different view of the Stormtrooper we have known. They showed regular people, not clones, serving the Empire. The helmets in Legacy are not too much different than the standard Stormtrooper helmet so I did not add them to mine. I wanted the focus to be on the character.

Wow, you sure have been busy, James. :)

I really like your latest batch. I've not followed the Legacy series, but these all seem to be true to character (those I know anyways). That Kel Dors admiral is pretty cool. I really like what you did with the Zabrak Jedi too, that removable arm is a neat little feature. I thought that Sith guy, Kryat, had a darker colored armor? Though I could be easily be wrong about that. You did a great job sculpting his armor. Keep up the great work.
