Kneel...kneel before Wobb!

Like a lot of us, I've been watching the hurricane devastation in New Orleans, and have donated what I could to help the people of Louisiana. However, I was thinking today (a dangerous pasttime, I know) that we have a hurricane victim right here in our little customizing community...our own Darth Ennis.
So what occurred to me is, what if we each made a custom figure and auctioned it on E-Bay, the proceeds of which we would then donate to Darth Ennis to help him and his family in the long road to recovery?
It might not seem like much, but with all the talented customizers we have here, we should be able to raise at least a few hundred dollars. I've not sold much on E-Bay, but AEseven's work alone usually nets over $100...imagine if we ALL participated? Every little bit helps, and we'd be helping one of our own.
What do you guys think?

It's a very nice idea. I've only sold two customs on ebay, and neither went for too much, but I would be happy to participate. At the very least, we could all send him something like some custom fodder.

I'm not allowed to use e-bay either; not cause I'm15 but because I don't have a credit card yet. If I made a custom and sent it to someone on the customizing forums, would any of you be willing to e-bay it off for me?
BTW, DD: GREAT idea!

I'd love to sell a custom, but I'm afraid no one would bid on something I'd create. They're not complex or good looking most of the time. I'd rather just help out Ennis any way I can.
Let me see what I can cook up though.

This is a good idea. If I can help somehow, advertising the auction, or even contributing parts, or aquiring paints or sculpy, please let me know.

i've sold my customs on ebay before and they usually go for about $30-$40, which isn't much but i'd be glad to participate in this! i'll wait to hear if you come up with anything for sure, like when and how. lmk.

It seems like the only thing that sells well on ebay is custom clones. No other character seems to sell very well.

I had a 501st clone I planned to post for the Red Cross, but I'll gladly do it for his family instead. Count me in.
Should we make some standard language for all the auctions for Darth Ennis? (1) To add some validity to what we are doing and (2)To better identify the auctions for people who know Ennis and want to help?

I think I can do this as well, I'll see if I have a custom worth selling on eBay, if not, I might have to make one. I agree with tykrazen, we definitely need some sort of uniform item description.
