I got one widescreen copy, which made me happy. But I've only been able to watch it once since my uncles and my mother all wanted to borrow it.  ::) :)

My copy has been in houses that I've never been inside.

Sorry for the old bump - but I finally got around to watching this.  All I can say is -- Wow! - I see what everyone was talking about.  I loved it.  I can't wait to rent the Firefly series (though I don't know when I'll get to watch it) and buy the DVD of Serenity.  I also have a renewed crush on Nathan Fillion.

Yes, it is a great show. It's too bad it ended too soon. It ranks up in my all-time favorite shows. The only bad thing about the series and movie is that there are some things that are introduced in the movie (Mr. World and Haven (Book's leaving Serenity), namely) that aren't in the series. Plus, Book had such a mysterious background that was never explored. But Joss did say if everyone read the comics and such, we'd know things, which I didn't, so there are some gaps that need filled.

Yeah, this def ranks as one of my all time favs.

Anyone that is a fan of Nathan Fillion has a few options available.

First is his show "Castle" I think it's on ABC. It's pretty good.

He's also in the new Halo game (ODST). He plays the squad leader and the game developers even modeled the cg character to look like him.

Oh and I think Adam Baldwin (Jayne in Firefly/Serenity) is also one of the ODST squad members.

This series ended WAY to soon. I LOVE Firefly. I need to watch this again. I usually take a whoel weekend and watch all of the shows, then the movie.  We fans of the show/movie have been trying to get another movie for a few years now. But it doesn't look like FOX is budging. Too bad for them too.

You've missed out, my friend. Check it out. You won't be disappointed! Especially with eyecandy like Morena Baccarin. Yum!

Thanks for the link Nathan!  Since my hubby is working all night, I put the kids to bed early and have been watching for the last 4 hours.  It's addictive.

She's hot, but Kaylee has that sort of innocent yet wild charm about her. And the grease mechanic angle works for her...lol

Well, yeah... I don't think anyone would refuse a double-up with both of them, either... (well, some would, but you know what I mean).

Thanks for hulu link!  I hadn't thought of that...Watched the first two episodes last night and loved them.  So good!  Woke wife up laughing at the end of episode 2 with Mal's attempts to return the money.   Great stuff.

Between those two episodes and Serenity, I've seen enough to officially call myself a fan.  Will be watching the rest soon.
