For those who are interested, The Container Store has display cases that fit all of the non-flap US Kenner mini-rigs. They look awesome displayed, help protect the items themselves and they are cheap ($10). Here are two of mine in the cases:

Mini-rigs rule! Although I did sell most of them a couple of months ago, I still have my first ever SW vehicle: the CAP-2. It's been in my possesion for more than 22 years now.

The ones I sold were: AST-5, Desert Sail Skiff, Maintenance Energizer, 2 Tri-pod cannons, 3 Radar cannons, although I don't think the last three items are genuine mini-rigs.

Who cares, they were great fun to have and I've got great childhood memories of them!

I have a few mlc3, cap2, int4, isp6, mtv7; I wish I could buy the rest someday.

Imagine what will happen if Hasbro relaunches this series but updated, for example, new mini rigs with their proper pilot or driver, and with sculpted pannels or computers, paint on the outside, etc, all of this instead of decals (stickers) :)

I too liked the minirigs when I was a kid and they are still a neat part of my collection today.

Oddly, I think Zam and Anakin's Speeders from Episode II and the escape pod from the BMF Falcon are sort of a minirig-esque.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

I loved the mini-rigs when I was young!  The great thing about them was that they were small and easy to take with you when your parents were doing something boring ;D.  Now I smile when I have to take my son with me somewhere and I offer to let him bring something along to pass the time and he grabs a speederbike.
