These look like crap to me.  The card is nice but I do not collect cardboard so I'll be pasing on these.

Yep, cards look great but we get rehashes for the figs.  I am fine with the babies being the same sculpt.  I have zero problem with that.  But instead of Bail it should have been the Queen anyway.  Kenobi should have his hood up and looks kind of lame when the picture shows him with his hood up.

But alas it is the twins and I will most likely buy them unless they are over $10

Does anyone know when these come out?

I believe they're expected in November.

I think for what they are, they're fantastic.  I love the card.  I don't plan on opening these, and since I don't have Bail, it's a plus.  I would have prefered some newness in the figs, but I'll live.  If they're cheap.

I think they are all right. Im not going to lose sleep if I don't find them. I've had pretty good luck with the Walmart exclusives though. If they are more than 9.99 I'll probably pass.
I remember my dream now.

At $5-6, I'll get them. Maybe two sets, since those cards are really damn nice.

I loved these scenes in the film, so I want these.  :)

Seriously.  The Obi Wan set especially.  I've been waiting for this figure combo almost as long as I've been waiting to see that scene, so I'm excited about it.  And it's the pilot Obi Wan, which is the best they could do (short of a hooded cloak), so it works for me.

Lamest most non-inventive exclusive ever.  I could of lived with a hooded Obi-Wan but this is just cheap.  How much more to add a hood to the sculpt? Big pass. The Bail figure sculpt (face) is just one of the ugliest sculpts in the ROTS line.

If it's $6-8 I might get it, but 8+ is way too much, considering these both could be basic figures. It was the same deal with the Dlx Air Corps Trooper, could've gone basic but for some reason was made a deluxe.
The Bail figure sculpt (face) is just one of the ugliest sculpts in the ROTS line.

I agree, it looks like a CW Anime figure. :D

Although I wouldn't have minded seeing a "hood up" Obi-Wan, or even some modified sculpts/paints to make these different, I'm kind of looking forward to these as well.  I really liked this whole sequence in the movie, and like Spuffy mentioned earlier, I've looked forward to an Obi/Baby Luke combo as well.  I thought someone mentioned at one time these might be priced in the $6 range, and that wouldn't be so bad.  Also, although I'm a loose collector, I kind of dig those cardbacks...might be tempted to leave them that way since the main figures are repacks, we'll see.  Nice to finally get some "confirmation" of these (and pics).

Separation of the Twins - disappointing.
« Reply #86 on: October 11, 2005, 10:30 AM »
What a great opportunity to give us a figure of Bail's wife and maybe one of the medical droids that deliver the baby's - but nope, we get another Obi-Wan and another Bail Organa.

Might as well have just packaged the infants on their own cards if you ask me...

I feel Hasbro went a bit lazy on us by not tweaking the figures a little to make them more scene accurate.  It really wouldn't have taken that much effort on their part.  With that said, at least they used the best ROTS Obi-Wan that's out right now.  And I don't mind getting another Bail Organa for customizing purposes.  He wore pretty many outfits in the film and I doubt Hasbro will get around to making too many more versions of  him.  Depending on the price, I'll pick these up if I see them but I'm not going to be scouring the planet for them or anything.

Really, these exclusives are better than any others we've seen.  Look at the Target and TRU exclusives - all repaints, no new molds (minus the overpriced TIE Fighter with new wings).

At least with the WM baby sets, we are getting new molds of everyone's favorite twins - and a kick ass package!   8)

Its worse than that, Rob...we got the same Obi Wan and the same Bail Organa.

Who is this exclusive to?

You know, I probably wouldn't be so sour on this set if they could have just put a soft goods robe on Obi-Wan.
