I'm in on them... though I do think that both babies should have had their eyes closed.

Believe it or not, the Luke/Leia are film accurate, as Luke never opened his eyes during the Tatooine sequence, and Leia had her eyes wide open when Bail presented her to the Queen on Alderaan.  So since it's like the film, I'm thrilled. :)

I've decided to get one of each, and not because they are some great figure or huge on my want list, but because I think they'll hit and be gone so this is the only chance to pay retail. If later I don't want em, I can always use em as trade bait.

Yeah, I remember Leia being pretty wide-eyed in the film and Luke was sleeping.  I just think her eyes look a little funky.   ;)

I've seen spots for them at two Walmarts - both were $6.88.

Cool, I'll take 'em. Gotta have the Twins in my collection. Under the circumstances, I don't mind another copy of the best Obi-Wan fig. I don't know what the **** I'll do with another Jimmy Smits, though.

If they were at Target, you know they would have jacked them up to $9.99 or more...

Ook, maybe on the extra Bail, you can use him in a different diorama (if you do dioramas of course) or customize him.

Has anyone found these today or gotten word that they'll be out at midnight?

No definitive word, but I'm not optimistic.  Something tells me if these were going to hit for tomorrow's DVD sales they would have already started leaking out (a la the DVD 3-Pack Box Sets).   :-\

I think we will likely see these (and the Target Utapau Clone exclusive) closer to the middle of the month to force us into the stores the week of Black Friday.

It makes more sense to keep the collectors coming back for more - give us a little in October/November (Mustafar figures and DVD 3-Packs) and then make sure we come back in Nov/December for more... :(

Yeah, I'm figuring they're 2-3 weeks away considering they showed up at Asian etailer about a week ago, so Black Friday makes sense. Hopefully these will show up and sit like the Target Obi/Ani sets, and not at all like the Holiday Edition figures, which I never saw in a store.

Well I certainly hope they aren't pegwarmers, but I do hope they are available for everyone that wants one.

Historically, WM exclusives have not been as tough as the Target ones, so I think everyone has a shot.
