The soon to be outdated Confederate forces have grown once more with the addition of: 6 Episode I Droid Fighters, 6 STAPs, 3 Battle Droids (EP1), and the famous Flash Cannon. Not to mention 2 (count 'em), 2 Trade Federation Droid Tanks!
The Imperial Army also grew over Celebration III with the addition of 4 Death Star Gunners, a Grand Moff Tarkin, and a Captain Peit aswell as 2 POTF Sandtroopers and Stormtroopers.
The Rebellion also got some much needed reinforcements with the addition of a POTF2 Endor Soldier, POTF2 Han Hoth, and a ton of random figures for customs into civilians and militias.

I added one the pilots to my army yesterday. I was rearranging my troops in the gunship last night, and I broke one of my cannons. >:(
Oh yeah, I also found that the 2 SA Clones I had manning the guns on the ship are contorted out of proportion due to the sitting position I had them in. :(

My amazing holy crap Spufftacular army:

1 Clone Commander
2 Clone Pilots
1 AT TE Gunner
1 Grievous Bodyguard
1 Blue Royal Guard
1 Red RG
2 Wookie Warriors

I did see TONS of Clone Commanders and Pilots today, which should ease some of the concern around here about not finding them.

I do however plan to load up on Gunners - which I found for the first time at retail yesterday.  3 of them.

Kohl's is the key here.  I got 8 of my 12 at 4 different Kohl's and still helped out 2 buddies get their Gunners (and pilots and Commanders).

As for Clone #41, I'll end up with 12 of him too.   My squads are in 12's right now.

I've been avoiding Kohls - I hate to pay 7 bucks when they're going to be landing for 5... the 3 I found yesterday were at a Target - so I'm guessing they're going to start popping up everywhere soon.  Hopefully on the 5th when 41-47 show up.

Besides "Army Builder-ism" my other flaw is "Instant Gratification Syndrome"...I actually got the last 3 at Kohl's and they had reduced the price to $5.99, which is TRU prices.

What is this May 5th you speak of?  Did I miss something big?  :-\

(aside from the Cinco de Mayo parties, that is)

Rumor is that there are cases containing figures 41-47 that are marked with a shelf date of 05/05/05 floating around backrooms all over the place - we'll see next week what happens...

That'd be great...  I hope these later #'s are hitting more abundantly spuffy, I haven't seen them yet save for Greivous and the Clone Pilot I found yesterday.  Just sitting there alone staring at me at Target...  Weird.

I find lots of ones sitting around all throughout the modern line.  Saw one Assajj, one SA Clone, one VOTC 3PO, one Blonde Saga Officer...

Ok this rumor kind of clarifies something that I heard this week doing the Target Clone and Wave 2 Deluxe runs....

I found a Yoda on the Dragonfly and I asked a girl with a stock gun to see if they had more of the case in the back (so I could get some Jet Pack clones) and she said

"That was the only box that was had the right date on it"

At the time the answer confused me....But I know which WalMart I'll be at on the 5th now, just to test the theory.

Well this evening's purchases round out a lot of the numbers...  I'm now at:

12 - AT TE Gunners
12 - Clone Commanders
12 - Clone Pilots
06 - Clone #6's
01 - Target Clone
04 - Blue Guards
06 - Red Guards

I think I'll pick up 6 more of the Clone number 6 to round that number out to a dozen.  Then I'll start aiming for 20 on each of those 4 - and factor in a bunch of (hopefully) SA Clones too.
