My commuter is a 1998 Ford Mustang.  This month we purchased an 05 Jeep Cherokee.  Man, Daimer (Mercedes) has really turned around Chrysler in my opinion.

The Cherokee handles like a luxury car and the ride is fantabulous.  Although I dread having a car payment again, with a wife, 13 yr. old and 12 yr. old boy, and a six month old puppy I dont have too many oprtions.

Reliability and peace of mind (6 yr. bumper to bumper warranty) it is worth it for us.

Peace,

DBK

This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient, but I do love Fig Newtons.

2003 Ford Focus wagon. Technically it's my parents' car, but since I live at home it's the one I drive.

Used to drive a 1995 Ford Escort wagon, but that one ... umm ... met an unfortunate end earlier this year. :'(

2000 Hyundai Elantra. I've almost got it paid for.

It'll be nice to have this car for a few more years and only have to keep up insurance on it.

I traded my 2003 BMW X5 4.4 Sport for a 2004 BMW 325i.  My payments Literally were cut in half and my milage is better a bit.

My wife drives a 2003 Suburban Z71 and puts a whopping 300 miles a month on it.

Since the surgery, it has become apparent that either my wife and I are switching cars or that I need to find something higher off the ground.

Oh, it has also been brought to my attention that my weekend driver, a 2004 HD Sportster Custom is going to be sold because of the loss of strength/nerve damage in my left foot/leg.  Which is fine it was terrible for toy runs anyway.  No saddle bags.

I noticed the Mustand in the beginning of this thread and got a kick out of it!!!  I have never actually heard of that brand of car and wish I could own one :) :) :)  Just kidding!!!!!!

I drive a '95 Ford Aerostar van.  It was a hand me down from my parents and even though it's not a "cool" ride at least it is something to get me around.  I would hate to have to walk to town when it takes 25 minutes to get there driving.  I will be selling it in the next couple of weeks to pay for a moving truck.  I want to sell it now even though I won't be moving until September...that way I won't have to worry too much about getting that done in time.  I am a worry wart!!!

I just bought a 1993 Ford Explorer today. Everything has been replaced in the last year or two, and I know the mechanics who work on it, so I can trust them when they say it is in good shape. And on top of that I got it at $1700 below book. ;D

Still a '98 Altima.  225,000 kms on it (about 130,000 miles).  Going to be driving it for a while.

1985 Dodge Diplomat.

300,000 miles on it.

Runs perfectly if you can imagine that.  ;)
