Yeah, definitely good news there.  As a fan of Nightwing/Grayson, I'd like to see him make it to the movies in some form eventually - but this television show sounded horrible from the start.

The Boy Wonder won't be flying into primetime after all.
Decision to yank the project came from Warner Bros. Pictures Group prexy Jeff Robinov, who initially gave his blessing but suddenly pulled his head out of his ass and realized that there was no story there.
This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient, but I do love Fig Newtons.

Any news about the up coming Superman movie? Villians and stuff? I hope Doomseday is in the movie.  Smallville actually really good this year with the role out of Doomseday ( now that we know who he is for sure) and the connection to Zod.  When will Bruce Wyane and Diana Prince ever get to Smallville and round out the Justice League?

Johnston has a ton of SW creds.  He looks like a solid pick.  In particular, I think The Rocketeer has a similar tone to what I'd hope for from Captain America.  Cap probably shouldn't be quite as sappy, but it needs to have the same lack of cynicism and pro-America patriotism.

I hope the Captain America movie is better than that piece of garbage from 1990.

Yeah, I hope so too. It rates up with the cheese factor of Corman's Fantastic 4.  :D

Captain America **** Yeah!  ;D

Those were bad years for Marvel films.  Dolph Lundgren Punisher.  Fantastic Four.  Captain America.  I remember seeing posters for Cap "Coming Soon" at the theater.  But then it never came out.  I've actually never seen the film.  Punisher and FF, though... phew!  Tough to stomach the stench.  I remember the FF filmmaker bragging about how they did more FX shots than Terminator2 with 1/10th the budget.  After seeing the movie, it shows.

I thought that one was more recent.  I caught like 30 minutes of the Hasselhoff Nick Fury on the USA network of Sci-Fi a couple years back.  I figured it was a made-for-TV type thing.  Those other I think were intended to be released to theaters.

That kind of reminds me of the old Lee Marvin "Our man Flint" movies.
