So you're expecting Megan to get implants for the role?

A push-up bra needs something to push up.

One thing that I keep in mind now when hearing casting news is that Hugh Jackman was about the last person that came to mind when thinking of Wolverine, but he nailed the character IMO.  So, while I agree that Megan Fox doesn't necessarily fit the model of what Wonder Woman is, that doesn't necessarily make her a bad choice.  The fact she's not necessarily that great of an actress, on the other hand, does.

I have no idea how good of an actress Megan Gale is but she definitely looks the part.  Cobie Smulders, on the other hand, is a pretty good actress and looks pretty good for the part.  She's 5'9" which isn't bad, and the same height as Lynda Carter.

Megan Gale is an aussie model = no acting ability = no thanks
So casting her for WW is a no no for me.
Unless they get the chick that did the voice work from JLU to do the voice then it might be ok

Saw Punisher: War Zone over the weekend.  Yep... I was the one.  The attempts to pull the heartstrings all fell flat, but otherwise it was fantastic fun.  Super violent.  Lots of black humor.  TONS of references to the Ennis MAX run.  I had a blast.

I call BS on the Batman news.

Just watched the Wolverine trailer.  Looks pretty damn good.  Is that The Blob that I saw a couple of times?  Cool to see Deadpool and Gambit, though I'm not a big fan of Ryan Reynolds.  Liev Schriber doesn't seem to fit as Sabertooth, but he's a decent enough actor that he could pull it off.

Looking forward to seeing the flick.

I'm not sure I buy the Batman news either...

Who is Ryan Reynolds in Wolverine? I never saw him in the trailer anywhere. Talyor Kitcsh (Friday Night Lights) plays Gambit if that's who you were thinking looked like Reynolds. I'll be down to check out Wolverine fro sure. I wasn't expecting much but the trailer pleasantly suprised me.

I finally got around to seeing Punisher War Zone last night.  And the third time was the charm.  Finally I see a filmmaker got the Punisher right.  The Dolph Lundgren movie was a joke that most people don't even know about.  And the Thomas Jane version?  They made the effort, but departed too much from the character's real roots.  Either Marvel or the studio were in too much of a rush to get another Marvel movie out despite the considerations for the character.

This movie finally got the Punisher right.  It got his origin right.  It got his unending need for vengeance right.  And Ray Stevenson was right for the part.  He had the range to show the Punisher's cold, calculating methods along with his motivation brought on by inconsolable loss.  This was true to the Punisher comics that I read back in the 80's.  And throwing Microchip in there was perfect.

Dominic West was good as Jigsaw.  A little over the top at times.  But I think it worked once he dealt with his own transformation.  And based on his work on The Wire, I'm always interested to see what he's going to do.

But I think this movie does need a caveat:  it needs the R rating.  It's brutal.  But that is what the Punisher is about.  And I wasn't surprised to see at least one couple walk out of the theater because the violence was pretty hardcore.
