Looks like two female screenwriters have been hired for the upcoming Captain Marvel movie.  Odd that they would go with two people instead of one, but nice to see Perlman from Guardians is on board.

New FF trailer dropped...  Still very unimpressed. Why the need to change so many aspects of the story?

Fox appears to be set to offer up another film set in the X-Men's corner of the Marvel Universe.  A New Mutants film is reportedly in the works with director Josh Boone at the helm.  Producers Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner are overseeing the project.

James Wan to Direct Jason Momoa in Warner Bros. Pictures’ Upcoming Aquaman Feature

Sorry, Vincent Chase.  You still lost the role to the (Sea)Horselord AquaDrogo.

Not a disaster, apparently.

Cool, I want this to be good. I like Paul Rudd and Evengeline Lilly and Michael Douglas and the guy from The Strain.

Wonder if there will be any toy support...

Yup.  Saw the 6" Ant Man and Wasp today, in fact.  There's also a 3-3/4" Ant Man with a winged ant queen that's due out soon.

Yes, and when I posted that it was still a pre-order.  So?  The whole one-upmanship pattern of your posts recently is very unbecoming.

The clips for Ant-Man look pretty good.  In a way I'm glad that Edgar Wright and Marvel parted ways.  Especially if Ant-Man is going to get incorporated into the broader Marvel Universe.  Edgar is an awesome filmmaker, but he has a style that SCREAMS Edgar Wright and not necessarily the source material.  While that might not have hurt the Ant-Man film on it's own, it might have made it a whole lot more difficult to incorporate the character into another MCU project without taking away from the subsequent film.

I saw the 3.75" Antman w/Flying Ant at Toys R Us this week too - I had totally missed that this was coming out, so I appreciated getting the heads up on the release on this thread. IMHO a great set for price ($19.99).

I was just letting people know it was available on HTS if they wanted to order.  Why are you always looking for a fight?   ???

I guess the news of trailers/clips for comic projects like Suicide Squad, Dawn of Justice and Deadpool totally overshadowed this news:

Green Lantern Corps Joins the DC Cinematic Universe Schedule

There have been rumors circulating about Tyrese Gibson being in the running to play Green Lantern John Stewart, and now Chris Pine is rumored to play one of the other Green Lanterns.  It's not clear if he would play Hal Jordan, but I have seen the word "reboot" used in reference to Green Lantern as Warner Brothers works towards establishing a more cohesive DC Cinematic Universe.

Speaking of Fantastic Four and Green Lantern, I'd like to see Jonathan Stewart play John Stewart in a stroke of race swapping genius!  Imagine the potential for a comedic, white, Jewish guy to represent a black super hero.

What do you mean that only works in reverse?   ???
