Star Wars mini-mates?

Ignore the delusional aspect of this auction but click on the bottom picture in the auction.

Mini-mates Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade?   Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're customs as well, probably using a Jean Grey head for Mara, but they're reasonably well done.  Maybe some photoshopping for effect as well, no reason for the name plate to overrun the logo.
Minivans: a sign of the apocalypse.

Very interesting.  The Mini-Mates look to be quite well done.

I've seen those Clone 4-pack bootlegs/customs before, but they other sets are new to me.

I've always kind of wondered if some day we would see Art Asylum get the Star Wars license for minimates.  These are probably customs, although well done, but I wonder if it is a possibility in the future?  Maybe with the combination of the Medicom and Hasbro licenses, it isn't even an option.  I'm sure some people wouldn't be too happy about it, but it would be a cheaper/easier alternative to those who can't afford or have access to all the Kubrick stuff.  I personally wouldn't mind seeing them, but I'm guessing I'm about the only one.

I would love SW Minimates, but I don`t think we`ll see it happen.
I have a few Lego figs I`ll have to be happy with (along with the Kubricks that
are awesome!)

The other sets are knock offs made by Kamiru.
I have the Clone set. I was going to get the Death Star escape set, that
had luke/han stormies and a chewie, but then Medicom took care of that
for me  ;D  The EP1 set with Maul is ok, if I wanted a Maul I would settle
for that one till Medicom gets the rights to make one (I`m assuming that
is the reason they haven`t made and prequel figs).
