2008 Wave 3 Revealed in Previews
The latest issue of Previews has a picture of the rumored third wave of basic figures for 2008. The wave is based on the original Clone Wars cartoon (not the new 2008 cartoon) and includes 8 new figures - Clone Armor Obi-Wan, Scuba Clone, Armored Saesee Tiin, Ilum Padme, IG Lancer Droid, Mon Cal Warrior, Quarren Warrior, and Quad-Gun Clone.

Three Books In One: The Dark Lord Trilogy
The Official Site has updated with news of the Dark Lord Trilogy. It's not a "real" trilogy, but rather a new trade paperback from Del Rey Books that collects the novels Labyrinth of Evil, Revenge of the Sith, and Dark Lord. Look for the volume to hit bookstores this August.

New 2008 Evolutions Listed at TRU.com
A few previously rumored Evolutions sets have popped up on the Toys R Us website, The Rebel Pilots Legacy and The Padme Amidala Legacy. There are no official details on the sets yet, but TRU has them listed with a 2/15/2008 release date (which seems like it is a little too soon). Winter Wonder Festival 2008 will take place on February 24th in Japan and fans who attend will get first crack at a new Star Wars Be@rbrick set from Medicom Toy. Swords and Lightsabers Clash in Soulcalibur IV
StarWars.com has revealed that Darth Vader and Yoda will appear in separate versions of the upcoming Soulcalibur IV video game from Namco Bandai. Vader will appear as a guest character in the Playstation3 version of the game, while Yoda will appear in the Xbox 360 version.

Gentle Giant has updated their blog to announce the start of pre-orders for the AT-TE Tank Gunner Mini-Bust Accessory Pack. The pack includes a helmet pad and pauldron and retails for $15 plus shipping. The sets are only available to GG Premiere Guild members until January 10th. After the 10th, remaining stock will be offered to all Club Members.

EE Reveals Two New Battle Packs for 2008

TOMY Super Deformed Figures Update
Despite a few delays in 2007, TOMY has finally confirmed that they will indeed be releasing another round of Super Deformed Star Wars figures this February. 2008 Order 66 Sets - More Evidence Arrives
