Just a reminder that McDonald's latest round of Star Wars Happy Meals arrived this past weekend. The Happy Meals feature one of four different Character Keepers or four Starship Launchers.

 New Star Wars Comic Packs Up for Pre-Order
Entertainment Earth is now taking pre-orders for the final wave of Star Wars Comic Packs. Yes, the reports are true - this will indeed be the LAST wave of basic Star Wars Comic Packs. Sad to see what was once such a great source of Expanded Universe characters draw to a close, but we can always hope it comes back again one day.

Admiral Ackbar a University Mascot?
It seems at least some students of the University of Mississippi may hope so. This Yahoo! article suggests there's some movement to replace the old "Colonel Reb" mascot with Admiral Ackbar of the Rebel Alliance. The good Admiral would surely sense a trap from the school or Lucasfilm on this one though, sad to say.

Wizards of the Coast has posted a new Fringe Stat Pack. This stat pack includes Saga Edition roleplaying game stats for Star Wars Minis that are suitable for use during any era and that haven’t been presented in other roleplaying products or previews.

Lego Mini-Kits at Target Stores
We've gotten a number of reports lately to keep your eyes on Target's seasonal section, for Lego Mini-Kits and a Captain Rex Easter Basket. People are finding a number of different Lego sets for $3.49. Among them are an X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Torrent, Republic Attack Shuttle, and Grievous Fighter. Great items for the bunny to hide!

Defender Wishlists 2010: The Phantom Menace
Unlike some other Johnny Come Latelies, for the last 6 years, JediDefender has run an informal fan poll asking for your ten most wanted characters from the various Star Wars films. All you have to do to take part in our latest poll is come up with your Wish List for your top ten 3-3/4" figures for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Either submit via our forums or via e-mail. Toys R Us Sale 1/31 - 2/6
Toys R Us had a little Star Wars in their sale ad for the week of 1/31 - 2/6. The Rebel Pilots Evolutions set was pictured in the ad for 50% off, however other Evolutions sets are on sale like the Fett and Padme sets on their website, and possibly at stores as well. Happy hunting!
