TRU's Pegs Stocked Nicely
It was a great day for most of us who showed up at Toys 'R Us at 6:00am (Friday, November 29), because TRU had their pegs stocked quite nicely. For the first time I came across Ephant Mon and the Endor Rebel Soldier (without goatee) in an actual store, and naturally I had to quickly snag them up. It was mass hysteria in the store, but for the most part I think most Star Wars collectors left with smiles on their faces.

Cantina Alien of the Week: Lirin Car'n
This week's Cantina Dude is a member of the band the Modal Nodes, sorta. Lirin Car'n is seen sitting at one of the tables and in EU lore has been called one of the backup Kloo Horn players for the band. Lirin is a pretty easy cutom by swapping heads and hands with a POTJ Ben Kenobi.  I doubt Lirin would ever be released so Customize away if you want to include him in your Cantina diorama

The Official site previews three new Jedi.
Three lucky Star Wars fans will be receiving detailed busts of themselves as Jedi Knights, courtesy of Gentle Giant Studios. At Celebration II this past spring, Gentle Giant had their revolutionary laser scanners set up at the Dark Horse Comics booth, and scanned hundreds of fans as part of the "Become a Jedi" contest.

Star Wars Insider 64
The Star Wars Insider's 64th Issue has a double cover, this time. The standard front page has Jango Fett and the usual Headlines, while on the Exclusive cover there's a retro-depiction of Han Solo and the subtitle of "The Return of Bantha Tracks". If you look inside from there, you'll find the magazine is a flip-over style print with a about 10 pages of Bantha Tracks, and from there the standard magazine takes up the rest (about 99 pages).
