StarWars.com updates today with all the details on the 15 new Star Wars 30th Anniversary 41-cent postage stamps from the US Postal Service! The Official Site has revealed details on the official Star Wars Celebration IV Program. The program will sell for $5 in the Celebration Store, and will be available throughout the show, while supplies last. I came across several cases of the new Wal-Mart exclusive Treachery on Saleucami Battle Pack at my local (SoCal) store tonight, priced at $19.76 each. Two New 30AC Battle Packs Revealed at EE?
Entertainment Earth has updated their website with new pre-orders for two 30th Anniversary Collection Battle Packs. Listed are a Clone Attack Battle Pack and a Jedi Vs. Sith Battle Pack. Will these be new figure sets, repack figure sets, or simply repackaged older Battle Packs? While no details are available yet, the names are very similar to a pair of Battle Packs released in 2005. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Star Wars Academy Screening in April
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will be showing the original Star Wars as part of it's "Great To Be Nominated" series on Monday, April 23 in the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater. As a special treat, George Lucas and a few of his fellow filmmakers will be present for a post-film panel discussion. Kotobukiya Available at Master Replicas
 
Japanese designer Kotobukiya has long been admired for its Star Wars ARTFX Statues and Master Replicas has acknowledged this by importing these for North American buyers! Starting tomorrow March 14th at 9am Pacific Time for Collector's Society members, you can preorder both the McQuarrie Darth Vader vs Luke Skywalker and Revenge of the Sith Obi-Wan Kenobi. The general public can then order on March 15 at 9am Pacific Time. These great pieces are expected to ship this summer!

More Price Hikes
We've gotten word that people are starting to spot a price hike across the board for the Titanium 3" line of ships. Part of the charm for these was the $5-ish price, but it seems Toys R Us and Target are following Wal-Mart's $1 price-hike from 2006, and new tags are emerging at these two retailers for around $6. As if $7 figures aren't bad enough, now Titaniums are going up!

If you are headed to Star Wars Celebration IV in May, you'll defintely want to check out the new Quick Path Shopping option. The Quick Path allows you to choose a shopping time to minimize or eliminate your time in line for the Celebration Store. Sounds like a nice option if you're planning on picking up any of the more than 50 highly-collectible Star Wars items at the show, including a soon-to-be-announced Celebration IV exclusive action figure from Hasbro.

We've gotten a number of reports around the country that the new Role-Play Blasters are out at retail, and I saw them myself at a Wal-Mart near Pittsburgh this afternoon. The Rebel Blaster seemed to be packed less to a case with more Clone Blasters lingering on the shelf. Happy hunting!

Along with the stamps planned by the USPS to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars, it appears there will be R2-D2 Decorated Full Size Mailboxes to also celebrate the year! Click the thumbnail above to check them out.
While we can't own a full size box like that, JD forum member efranks mentions that collectible 1:6-ish scaled mailbox replicas are sold by the USPS including seasonal ones. Perhaps an R2-D2 collectible mini-mailbox will come our way?

Lucas Talks TV
StarWars.com has the audio to the interview Lucas did recently where he discusses his television ventures. The interview was already out in print but hearing the audio gives an interesting impression of how Mr. Lucas plans on expanding Star Wars beyond the Skywalker Story himself. It's also interesting how the live-action series is "complex" and is described as a "single story that breaks off into 4 separate stories". It's also years away it seems.

Obi's Cloak Sells At Auction
The cloak worn by Sir Alec Guinness in the original Star Wars film went up for auction in London recently and fetched $104,000! It was the centerpiece in an array of costumes that went up for sale. The winning bidder won via telephone and remains anonymous. Could Sansweet have added yet another amazing artifact to his collection? Or even Lucas himself? Maybe we'll find out soon.

New 100th Review: Rebel Fleet Trooper

30th Anniversary Collection Finds
The 30th Anniversary Collection have started to trickle out to U.S. retail finally, just as Hasbro said. So far Sears Grand seems the place to be, as tonight I was able to find a lone Obi-Wan and Galactic Marine on the pegs. None of the others, but all in good time. Another pre-order listing at R2-DToys has people's curiosity piqued. The listing is for a Stormtrooper Disguise Mouse & Able. Early speculation is that this is yet another EU Comic 2-Pack set. The two images above picture both characters. One a Duros Rebel Agent (Mouse), and the other an aging Jango Clone (Able), who don the Stormtrooper armor in the Star Wars Empire: The Wrong Side of the War comic series.

Blister.jp has released new details about their upcoming exclusive Kubrick 400% Shadow Stormtrooper figure. This 400% figure will be available exclusively at an in-store event to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of the Blister "World Characters Store" in Shibuya (Tokyo, Japan). The Shadow Stormtrooper will sell for 7140 Yen (around $60 US) and is limited to 1000 pieces.
