Target Drops the Sandcrawler... Who's Next Up?
Well, the ugly rumors were just made official by the folks over at Hasbro. Target has indeed dropped the Sandcrawler as an exclusive for later this year. I'm sure it'll get picked up by someone else though, so don't panic just yet. Question is, who? Rumors are suggesting you might have to pay a few extra bucks when it potentially winds up as an e-tailer exclusive. Stay tuned...

George Lucas has been fascinated with racing and speed since his youth. He got to take that fascination up a notch in Episode I when he brought us the Pod Race where young Anakin wins his freedom from the clutches of Watto by winning the race. So far 5 Pod Racers have been made: Anakin, Sebulba, Gasgano, Ody Mandrell and Teemto Pagalies. Clone Wars Maquettes
The Official Site gives us some info on the upcoming Clone Wars maquettes from Gentle Giant. These will be highly stylized porcelain/resin maquettes. There are 5 announced so far: Yoda, Asajj Ventress, Obi-Wan in clone armor, ARC Trooper and Snow Bunny Padme. Look for Yoda and Asajj in August and the rest sometime later this year.

Kotobukiya Boba Fett
JD forum member wai brings us a sneak peek at a collectible sure to be a hit...Kotobukiya Boba Fett! Information and pics are sketchy right now, only that it will retail in Japan for 7800 Yen and will be released in Mid-July. As with other Kotobukiya figures, Boba will probably be released in the States through Dark Horse. Anakin and Darth Maul will be released through Dark Horse next month as we had previously reported.

Hasbro's own Cargo Bay shows a picture of a Red Clone Trooper Unleashed figure. Since it's already the 8th of the month, I don't think it's an April Fool's joke. Celebration 3 Logo Revealed
The Official Site shows off the new logo created for Celebration 3 next year. "The new logo for Star Wars Celebration III harkens back to the patch that was originally designed for the cast and crew of The Empire Strikes Back. "Vader in Flames," as the design was called, was later modified and made available to members of the Official Star Wars Fan Club.
