Koto Yoda: Spirit of the Force
 
As previously shown in February at Wonder Festival in Japan, Kotobukiya is releasing a Spirit version of their Yoda ARTFX statue. It will only be available at Celebration IV and Celebration Europe and is limited to 1138 pieces! Yoda will feature a voice chip with lines from The Empire Strikes Back and an LED light to give him a spiritly glow. Check out all the info as reported by Figures.com.

30AC Comic Packs Wave 2 Found at Retail
A few folks have e-mailed to let us know they found Wave 2 of the Star Wars Comic Packs from the 30th Anniversary Collection at their local Toys R Us. The new comic packs included in Wave 2 are a Quinlan Vos & Vilmarh Grahrk pack, a Marvel Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper) & R2-D2 pack, and an Obi-Wan Kenobi and ARC Trooper pack. Family Room at Celebration IV
The Official Site has posted some new details about the Family Room at Star Wars Celebration IV. Each day the Family Room will offer a variety of Star Wars arts and crafts classes, ranging from Star Wars origami to drawing lessons. In addition to special classes, the Family Room also will feature ongoing activities such as coloring, crafts, and free Star Wars face painting (kids only)!

Shipping Update - 12" Plo Koon and 12" Boushh Leia
 
Sideshow Collectibles has passed along shipping updates for two 12" figures. The 12" Plo Koon figure is estimated to arrive at Sideshow's US warehouse during the last week of May and pre-order processing should start around the same time. The 12" Leia as Boushh figure however has been pushed back to 3rd Quarter 2007 to ensure the figure is the best that it can possibly be.

Gentle Giant Han Solo Month
Gentle Giant will make this November "the month of Han Solo" with the release of two new Han Solo products. First up is the Animated Han Solo Maquette, which is designed to pair up with the yet-to-be-revealed Animated Chewbacca Maquette. Second is the Han Solo Statue, the latest edition to the Gentle Giant 12" statue line. No images of the Han statue just yet, but stay tuned!

Gentle Giant has revealed the first piece in their new Star Wars Kustomz line. The Scout Trooper on Speeder Bike Kustomz piece will be made out of rotocast/vinyl and stands about 7" tall. A few folks have e-mailed to let us know they found an assortment of Star Wars items in the $1 section at the entrance of their local Target store. Items include a set of colored pencils, pens, notepads, jumbo markers, dry erase boards, water bottles, and a gift bag. Celebration IV Charity Auction

Hasbro Fixes the Snowtrooper
One of the most anticipated 30th Anniversary figures this year is the "Vintage" super-articulated Snowtrooper, but it has been criticized for its incorrectly styled kama as previously shown at Toy Fair. However, Hasbro has claimed it would be changed by the time of its release, and they come through as shown at swCollector.com which has received an image of the corrected Snowtrooper, also showcasing its helmetless Jango face.

Battlefront Boxed Sets?
Online retailer ToyWiz has listed two new 6-packs of figures for the game Battlefront. A Battle Droid Set and Clone Trooper Set are both pictured (though the images are small) with descriptions of the figures included. UK e-tailer R2DToys.com has posted a pre-order for a new 30th Anniversary Collection version of Darth Vader's TIE Advanced x1 Starfighter! Based on the image and text on the box, it appears that Hasbro has retooled the wings on the Sith Lord's ride to allow a new "ejecting wings" feature.

The Official Site has confirmed another 3-3/4" Exclusive Figure for Celebration IV. It is none other than Luke Skywalker based on the iconic McQuarrie Concept Art of yesteryear! Luke joins his faithful droids as an exclusive at both the North American and European conventions. Unlike the droids, there appears to be no daily limit and will be available at the Hasbro Toy Shop Booth (and maybe/hopefully on-line?).

TRU 181st TIE Interceptor Exclusive Details
 
ToysRUs.com has posted a description of their Exclusive TIE Interceptor as well as a price of $34.99. It seems we'll be getting a 181st Squadron deco of the Interceptor which is from the EU, and is the squad of Baron Fel.
