Toys R Us Acquires FAO Schwarz
 The ever changing world of toy retailers is about to take another turn. Toys R Us has reached an agreement to buy FAO Schwarz. TRU plans to continue to run FAO's two retail stores and catalog business as is, but may end up expanding the selections at both in the future.

Loose Wedge's X-Wing Images

TIE Interceptor Headed to Toys R Us
 We got a note from Jedi Defender reader Toryn Farr, that Toys R Us computers in Canada are showing a TIE Interceptor listed for $69.99 in their system. This is interesting, as a rumor started last week that a TIE Interceptor was coming at some point, and it seems it might be a Toys R Us exclusive. We'll keep you posted as more details are uncovered about this story!

Retooled TIE Fighter Coming to Target?
 While not a confirmed story yet, our Anonymous Target Source was kind enough to let some information slip our way about the possible future/destination of the "new" TIE Fighter (with spiffy newly sculpted cockpit). Our source says there is a DPCI in Target's system active for a TIE Fighter (087-06-0639) listed at $39.99. This may or may not be our new mystery fighter, and we'll be sure to let you know when more details bubble to the surface!

Legacy Wave 8 Up for Pre-Order at Entertainment Earth
 Entertainment Earth is now taking pre-orders for Legacy Collection Wave 8. One interesting thing to note about the pre-order is that they include a Clegg Holdfast & Ratts Tyerell 2-Pack in the case assortment. Last we heard from Hasbro, Ratts was being held and Clegg was coming alone... could the big H have found a way to give us both or is it just an "oops" on EE's part? Guess we'll have to wait and see!

New Galactic Heroes 2-Packs Revealed at EE
 Entertainment Earth is also taking pre-orders for a new wave of Star Wars Galactic Heroes 2-Packs from The Clone Wars animated series. Included in the wave are four new sets - Ahsoka & Goldie, Kit Fisto & General Grievous, Clone ARF Trooper & Yoda, and Lt. Thire & IG-86 Assasin Droid! No pics yet, but hopefully we'll see them soon.

Death Star Prototype?
 Could it be the holy grail for Star Wars collectors? I have been sitting on this photo for some months now, waiting for the right moment. Click the image above to check out a detailed picture of a Death Star Playset mock-up sent to me some time ago by my Forgotten Force buddies CorranHorn & Delaton. This is just a mock-up and no details are known, but you get a good sense of the details by this (very stealthily obtained) photo!
