Just merged Jon's thread with the old Palm Talker thread that I dug up from the depths of this forum...

Anyway, my K-mart has about 30 Vaders, and that's it.  Were those things packed in solid cases or something?  Makes no sense...  And still not a sniff of the damned Maul figure yet.  Anyone else having better luck at their K-marts with these things?  Is anyone even collecting them?

I only wanted a Stormie and Fett. I almost forgot about the sale last week,
and went on Saturday to get them. They 2 Fett, 1 Stormie, handful of Yoda and
lots and lots of Vader. I forgot there was even a Maul in this set, but I didn`t
see him anyway (would have grabbed him for a buddy).

I like these things, the oddball stuff. I`ll put them with the Star Wash figs
and kubricks and such when I take them up to the SW room.

Adam,

I am right there with you, I too like "oddball collectibles."  In fact I won an auction this week for a loose  R2, Stormie, Vader, Chewie, Fett and C3PO for $18.00 shipped.  Seems like the Maul is the "elusive" piece.

Anyone know how these things are packed / shipped?

That's a nice price there.  Good grab!

They're each individually packaged in small little square window-boxes (not much bigger than the figure itself) - both the older POTJ ones and the newer ROTS ones.

I have an extra loose Vader if anyone could use him, just PM me your mailing address.  If not I'll have my wife give it to a kid at the school that she volunteers for.

Managed to find Maul and the Stormtrooper on my recent US trip.  Pricey devils at $9.99 each but couldn't pass them up.

Is it just me or is the stormtrooper a new sculpt?  It looks a bit different to me.
