I will try and make one for this months challenge, but here are some older ones!
This is a fig made with left over parts. The legs are from an artoo, the body is the backside engine compartment from the Darth Maul speeder.

I thought of this as a kind of add on to the droideka line. It is made from the lower half from the STAP, legs from some Titan A.E. toy, and various parts from other Star Wars toys.

A few astro droid repaints, man my painting sucks! Might be too much coffee!

Kit, your "sentinel" droid looks great! I love "kitbashed" droids that are parted together like that and don't end up like a bunch of junk glued together.

I've recently done 2 droids...

But, I think I'm going to have to try and come up with an idea specificly for this month.

Very cool, I really like those.  I'm already kind of familiar with the last two that you just showed Psycho Gunz; those are just awesome.

I really like that Gonk-type droid. Coeli!!!  I have to make one for myself now!  And the Droid Walker rocks.  You're so good at vehicle type customs.

Coeli - I hadn't seen those droids of yours before.   Your use of parts is very clever!  I love it!  Is there any articulation on that STAP / Titan AE compilation droid?  It's very cool!
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Thanks! Answer a few questions;Unfortunately the walker isn't articulated, but it does look kinda menacing next to a few droidekas :P. The power droid is made up of parts leftover from another custom. Kinda funny when the leftover parts make a better custom thn the one that you intended!

Ennis, I definitely think you could add a lot to this monthly challenge we do.   :)

Coeli, those "out of the blue" customs are definitely sometimes the best.

ok, I was a little stumped to find a base figure for the HK-47 droid I'm doing, but I've decided to go with a spiderman aqua-blast figure from toy-biz (its 6" btw).  I needed something that had skinny arms and legs, bigger chest, and small torso.  So, I think this is the one!

Ive got a great idea, problem is i need a naked 3po from E1 or a saga 3PO to do it. and to think, i just got rid of my extras of these about a month ago. AHHHHHHH!!! Does it ever seem to you that inspiration hits when you have absolutely no raw materials to work with.

Yes, that seems to happen all the time.  It's unfortunate.  If I had an extra of one of those figures, I'd send it to you.

You could probably get a loose one very cheap on ebay, or in the classifieds section here.

The good news is I went to my freinds Toymarkie's flea market shop yesterday and snagged me a loose Saga 3PO ( and a few other things I really shouldn't have bought) so I should be starting work very soon.

any ideas for next month's custom challenge?  How exactly do we come up with the topic anyways?  Maybe a poll on the top choices or what? :D

We punch babies, usualy 10 or 11, and whatever noises they make, we string them together, and thats our topic for the next month.
