ahhh, nice, much better!

That's very cool - the drybrushing is well done.   ;D

Great detail and a plain mean looking droid.  I don't think 3PO would have liked him.   ;)

Great work guys! Sorry I haven't posted sooner, these just kept popping up so quickly! :)

Darth_Ennis - Bollux looks great so far, i can't wait to see you finish this one up! :)

coeli - This is one of my favorties so far. :o I have some of the same questions as Greg. Is it scratchbuilt? And how's the articulation? It looks really really great with the clones and the AT-TE, I can't wait to see what you'll do with a Turbo Tank. :) I think it'd look good with a Republic logo, buit I don't thnik it is necessary.

CHEWIE - The paint job looks great, as usual. :) I really like the parts you used, I have been looking for a use for that back pack. I may have to try this. :) I think he could use a little chin gun, he only has 2 missiles so he'd need something to use after he has expended them. I guess he could also just have a big self destruct, and he could just kamikazee something when he runs out of missiles.

Phruby - This one looks great too, the dome is kinda funny shaped. I seem to remeber the coolers were that way too, so I think it is good. It'll look great with some bottles init.

Dressel Jr/Famine/Kevin -I really like yours. The paint app. looks great. The TIE wing base was very clever, this rivals your Manalorian as my favorite custom of yours.

I added all of your entries to the image thread, except for yours Darth_Ennis, I'll add it when we see the final images. :)

Thanks guys. The figure is basically just a R3 droid with his brains sucked out. The shape is suppost to match the one on the cooler. Basically a quarter on each side of the done was cut out. It will look better with the bottles sticking out.

Ok, here's one more - my final one this month.

Yam'rii Protocol Droid - based on the species of Kitit Keed'Kak, the Yam'rii Protocol Droid is an outdated model of droid that is still found in use by this species (fan fic idea and design).

I like it. The picture of that creepy bug bitch bothers me though. Remove her at once. :p (I've seen 5 Praying Mantis's this year)

What kind of service are they used for?

Well, I guess the droids can be used for whatever the owners program them to do.  Clean, program, repairs, etc.

I thought that since I made three different figures for this month's challenge, I'd put a collage together of them -

Man, CHEWIE, all of your droids look incredible!  Your expert drybrushing really brings out the details; that collage looks pretty slick.  It just dawned on me that the missile droid reminds me of Short Circuit   ;)  Whether that was intentional or not, it's a nice touch!

Nope, it wasn't intentional... but my wife thought the exact same thing.   ;)

I think that's the first time I've seen Vader's droid used for a custom. Those guys used to be pegwarmers around me then they started drying up quick. And I haven't seen one in awhile It is great that you were able find a good  use for it. This is looking to be another great one from you.

The bottom of the destroyer droid you used chewie could be used for a B'omarr Monk if you replace the ball with a brain boll.

Yeah it does have a bit of a B'omarr Monk feel to it... if I can get another of those figures cheap, I might try something like that.
