I have a little surprise for the head. It's one of Ryan Shaw's (bantha5) custom Bossk head. He even painted it for me. I just hope the rest of the figure will not seem out of place.

Hey Ryan, what is the quote from on your signature?

It's a Stargate SG-1 quote. ;)

I'm excited to see the head. I really like bantha5's work. I think he registered here a while ago but he never posts here.

The blue harvest thing seems like a reasonable idea. And seeing as how I kinda left my seperatist WIP at home when I left. :( This could be better for me to try right now. I still want to do the fem trooper.( go ahead you preverts laugh) but Its all about lack of supplies for me right now.

You know, with the front page mention (thanks JD!) I am surprised more people haven't gotten into this, but I am sure a few might have at least seen what we've been up to.

Just about 10 days and I can show my entry for this month.  I think you guys will like him.

You are welcome!   ;)

My figure is progressing a bit slow (I finished up my Pilots whilie I waited for paint to dry on my BH), but I think I should have him done in time for the reveal next week.   :)

Anyone have any recomendations for a nice "tech" backpack?  I was thinking of using a modified Dash Rendar pack, but I don't really like it...

GI Joe's Hard Drive has a decent "tech-looking" backpack.

That's cool!  I like the paint job, he definitely looks grungy.  I like the way you extended his legs to make him taller.
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Thanks! I had to. His arms looked way too long.

Very nice custom Phruby.  I guess now that someone has shown one, I won't wait until the end of the month to post mine?  Hmmm.... don't know yet.  I have one done, and plan on starting on a second one today.

It's a good use of parts that you used to assemle this guy, and I like his accessories too.  The longer legs make him look tall, which I think is a good thing.

The best part about this custom though to me is the skin tone coloring.  It's nice to see one of these guys that isn't green.

Well done!

Thanks! I tried to make his skin color the same as the head. I kind of got close. I had to make his legs longer because his arms looked too long. Thanks to both Ryans (sithlordchaos and bantha5) for the parts.

Nice job on the paint!  The leg work you put into him makes him much better proportioned.  Did you sculpt those?

I extended the legs with an extra piece of another character's leg. Then covered it with sculpty to blend in.
