I replied more in your thread, as that's where I saw it first DD.  This is a very creative custom, colorful too!  I really like it, especially the blaster and the skin tone.  Once you dull coat it, it will look even better!

That is one nice Trando Slaver! The armour is alomst spot-on and it's very reminiscent of Republic commando! I love the Concussion rifle, too!

Thanks guys. I tried to get some dull cote at lunch only to discover my local hobby store went out of business somewhere in the last month!  :-\

Looks like I'll have to get it at Pegasus hobbies on the way home tomorrow...

I'm glad everyone likes the stripes... I thought they'd be cool but didn't know how well the idea would translate to plastic.

Phruby: The armor and gun are from a Final Fantasy Gray Edwards figure. In order to get it to fit I had to ditch the Bossk torso and use a Boshek torso...

Man that gun looks almost exactly like the concussion rifle in Republic Commando! :o

The scale pattern is perfect!  Nice job yet again DD!  It really looks lifelike, which is a little disconcerting  ;)  Great work!
The visor looks a little too big, however it seems to be in keeping with the oversized armor (which I like), so I don't think I'd change anything.
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Thanks guys. I saw the nice job Phruby did with his Trando's scale colors, and it made me want to do one of these guys in a color besides green or brown. I figured, why can't Trando's be as varied as the lizard kingdom on which they're based?

I also caught a special on Gila Monsters on Animal Planet after finishing this, so that will probablt be my next Trando pattern.  :P

Gregorbian- I saw it mentioned somewhere that Trandoshans are a little behind most of the galaxy technologically...so when I used the big armor, I thought the oversized goggles, like an 80's cellphone, were a nice touch. Not to mention Trando's aren't supposed to be very dextrous with their clawed hands.  ;D

Very cool and very dino. He reminds me of a Small Soldiers figure meets a Jurassic Park dino. I'm going to hold on to this picture for future reference. This is one of your best!

Ugggghh, I missed a lot in the last day. I had a hockey game and was really tired so I read the boards and saw all your stuff but was too lazy to post. :P

CHEWIE - I love the Typho helmet. It looks really menacing. I like the gloves, they still make the arms a little long but it is nothing that needs fixing, he is just long armed. Did you just re-use your Ash smuggler? I'd be sad to see that figure go. :'( ;)

DD - I'm going to echo the sentiment on the Mandalorian. I like the paint job but that body just doesn't do it for me. I really don't like GIJoe joints. They are too exposed and bulky. The legs seem to be in a spread eagle pose too. If the body were somehow transformed into the same body but with SW style joints it would be really cool. Your trandoshan on the otherhand... While I love the armor and the suit, it is the skin that does it for me. It is nice and reptilian looking, and it is great to see a different skin tone than green. Between your's and Phruby's I'm nervous about submitting mine, it will easily be the worst of the 3. :-\ Not saying I'm not glad you guys didn't make, I may have to copy both of them someday. :)

Tijuana, I saw in the sticky topic on monthly entries that you wanted to know where and how to enter a figure.  This is the thread to do that - just read back a few pages, and you'll see how we work together on these projects.  You would make a great addition to this monthly project.

You entered one for the smuggler month I believe. BTW would you mind deleting that other post, we are trying to keep that thread nice and clean so it is easy to sort through. :)
