Now this belongs in my Darth Vader shrine.

Any guesses on how tall he actually is?

Here is my picture of the Medicom Fett that I published on the Kubrick thread.

That ought to give you an idea of how tall it is. All of those Bounty X Hunter VCD figures are the same. About 8" or so.

The packaging is much better on this one.

The packaging is so green, guess I'm used to seeing the darker packaging but I like the window display.  8)

Thanks for the picture Simon, so are you getting one for your collection?

Yeah but no rush. I'll go in the Collectors Club lottery and try to get it cheaply.

I noticed that a couple of the new Boba Fett have shown up on eBay.

Sweet. There are 2005 of them. I was worried they were only going to have 500. The box graphics are cool.

A Medicom Toy Show in Japan today.

NEW! MEDICOM STAR WARS DARTH VADER Vinyl Figure KUBRICK

$200?  Damn, I was hoping this would be a lot cheaper.  But I guess it's pretty early yet, so here's hoping it drops in price.  A lot.   :-\

Nice figure, but I would get any kind of Kubrick before it.

What is it that collectors don't like about these toys?   ??? I think that the Bounty Hunter figures are just as, if not more interesting than anything that Medicom or any other lines for that matter. For me it's the size, the detail, the funky design... Each to their own though. I reckon it's just me at the end of the day, I guess. I mean, relatively speaking, they are not even that popular in Japan compared to alot of the other lines.

I like them, but it's not the direction I like to fling my cash is about all.  It's just a  matter of choosing something to not collect is really more than not liking them.  I'd love to have them, but there are MR pieces I need yet, tons of Gentle Giant coming, Kubrick's (two series' plus catch-ups), all the regular Hasbro stuff and a vinyl cape Jawa haunting me before considering these.

Man, Medicom sure knows about designing awesome boxes, don't they?

I will be passing on it, though.  Kubricks and RAH figures will have to do for me.  Can't wait to get my RAH Darth Vader this month.  It is coming out this month, right?
