I can pop one apart if you want a pic and can't find yours.  I think mine are sitting in a weird stack somewhere handy in my work room.

Sure! Thanks!

I forgot to post these little custom gems that I bought a while back.  Found a guy who was selling them carded and asked if he could make me a few loose for a lower cost.  Voila!  I love the look on both these guys.  Makes me realize how many more characters they could have done in the original line.

Very cool. Really is too bad they never made a vintage Sandtrooper.

Here's some looks inside a POTF2:

You can see how the lid mechanism works basically and how the gear mechanism works.  That's essentially all that's in both versions save for the electronics/motor of the vintage one of course.  Everything SHOULD be pretty interchangeable but colors I'm 99% sure won't match exactly... I think the greys may be different too on the guns and gear.

Thanks a lot Jesse! May give myself a month or so to think about the real thing and if not I will have to make one of the dreaded, which box in the garage has what loose modern stuff in it searches.

May be more worth buying one off Ebay for $5.   :D

Or maybe that's just my storage situation :-X

Nice grabs Jesse!  Is the Canadian EV the same as the US one except for the box?

Yep, the Village itself is exactly the same as a US one.

Everything I bought had either one or two of these issues:
1)incomplete 2)dirty 3)some sort of defect
But grand total was $75 at the local antique toy show. All loose. All vintage. Quite happy.

Vader's Tie Fighter
white Tie Figther
12" Han
12" Stormtrooper
C3PO carrying case
Brown hair Luke farmboy
Yoda w/ pac man eyes and brown snake.

That's a great haul despite the condition.  I nabbed a boxed Jabba at Hot Comics for $22 for FCBD.

Wanted to share my latest acquisition and definitely one for the ages for my collection: DT Luke. Huge thanks to Bill McBride for setting me up with this one. I've been hunting for this for a long time. Never thought I'd make it back to him. My brother and I had one from the EB set as kids. I remember carrying around the empty chute forever after we lost the extending part. Not this time!

Like Dale said, welcome to the DT Luke club.  :)  It's my favorite Vintage piece honestly.

So talked to my  boss over the weekend, saw her and her bro's childhood stuff.

She had a few POTF in there including a good Amanaman...  I told her I can't take it for free, so I'd help her sell it all.  She has very few weapons though, so most of it was just average stuff or heavily worn.  Amanaman, Blue Snags, and a couple other pieces were nice condition though...  Not 10's but I'd say solid 7's and 8's, which is pretty sellable.  Given how much and the condition of most of it I couldn't just take it though.  The Amanaman alone made me cave and tell her I'd just help her sell it all, haha.
