Can anyone tell me what this is?  Guess I was totally unaware that TRU sells used vinty figs on their website.

That's kind of cool.  I wonder if you always get the same five pictured or different variations?  There's is one comment from 9/5 that someone was happy with their purchase.

It's definitely not as vague as This Star Wars Item.

Yeah, I've seen that stuff too, seems sketchy to me.

I scored a very minty Big Head Han today...just starting to delve into the long list of variants I still need. (Something like 20 at last count)

New Warok (old one was mine from childhood... had a crayola yellow torso and a repro bow) and Stormtrooper Luke are here.

Blue Snags is the last figure I need... and there's one on the way.  8)

Thanks!  Yeah, it's an odd thing.  I still want to nab a Brown Haired farm boy Luke... and a few vehicles... a Dagobah playset etc...  I might do Droids / Ewoks but don't have plans to at the moment.

I'm also toying with the idea of selling my modest Kenner baggie collection.  I've got around 20 of them and I don't see myself collecting the rest given how expensive they get.

Do you plan an trying to nab all the variants too? I was starting down that road but am starting to reconsider...there are nearly as many variants as regular figures. (maybe even more)

I certainly don't plan on doing anything that involved.  I've got a pair of Ackbars, a pair of Bespin Lukes... two versions of Obi-wan.  Big and Small head han.  Like I said I wnat to add the Farmboy brown hair Luke... maybe a smiling Lando and a turtleneck Bespin Leia, but I'm not going to start looking for molded Hoth Han or Small mouth Biker Scout...

I would eventually like to get a vinyl caped jawa though.

I hear ya. It's a slippery slope. "Variant" is a VERY subjective term. I've got the vinyl cape jawa, orange hair Luke, etc on my list too, but those may never happen. I wish there was an official catalog of documented variants somewhere. All the information I get is piecemeal.

What is molded Hoth Han? I'm not sure I have heard of this one...

Dale can let me know if I'm wrong about this but he was released with legs that were made of tan plastic, and then later with legs that were blue plastic painted tan.  I seem to remember them running about $75-$100ish?

The molded Han variant was released with tan legs (unpainted) & the blue of the jacket painted one. Which version came 1st is beyond me.

Han Hoth

Normal version.

Variant tan legs.

Very nice figures, thay look sharp Rob.  8)

I received this in the mail yesterday, Han Solo Hoth with moulded legs variation .  8)

Some paint loss & the holster is split at the top but better than nothing.  :P

I'm new to that one Dale - what's different about it?  And how rare is it?

The legs are moulded in tan plastic, not painted. I have been after one for a long time, not many pop up but when they do you are looking to pay $70. depending on the condition. I have seen the odd ones go for around the $200. range.

Han Solo Hoth Outfit

Gonna run ya $100. plus for a good one.

VINTAGE Star Wars molded legs

One sold on RS for $100.

Thanks Dale.

That's the sort of variant that doesn't really appeal to me... it looks just about the same as the other one.

No problem Rob, always remember that the only difference between a regular version & a variant is the $$$.  ;)

Now once you get a regular VCJ, you have to get the Toltoy version!  :P   :-*   >:D
