Thanks! I have added a glossier finish and a better paint job to the Reegesk since that picture was taken. I'll try to get a better pic later on.

Thanks. I'll try sanding the edges on the glued areas later today, if I have the time.

I was thinking about that, but I already trashed my only Bossk head and Ponda Boba body.  :-\

This is my next vintage custom. It's Lak Sivrak (Hyena Man, for a vintage Kenner name). It's made from a repainted modern Lak Sivrak head and a Burger King Wolfman body.

I like it, I'm with some of the other guys I'm not a big fan of the vintage figures but using an articulated body makes it that much better well done.

Hi you've got a good range of figures the wookie would look great if you added some extra paint to the cyborg parts and I think a smaller gun would looks heaps better.

This is my new vintage-style BoShek. It's made from a vintage Bossk body, hands and boots from modern figures, and the head is from a modern remake of a vintage GI Joe Action Pilot.

Great job - you really captured the vintage look for him.  Really good painting too!

Thanks, CHEWIE. I used a mark-a-lot on this, since the only color I need was black. :P

Like I said earlier and you have the perfect Vintage-style BoShek.  I don't think I'd change anything else other than that.
Keep it up with these vintage customs, they're great!
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Vintage-style Darth Maul
« Reply #57 on: November 6, 2005, 03:18 PM »
This is the first in my series of vintage TPM customs. It's made from a Luke Jedi body, a modern Maul head, and a Bend-Ems Darth Vader cape.

Looks pretty good!  I like the cape, I never realized the Bend Ems Vader had a silk cape.  Good use of that.

Got a pic without the cape on?

Most excellent!

I wish I knew how to remove and replace heads like that.

I like it, and second the request for a pic w/out cape.  :)
