I like it, but at the same time there are a few things I would change.  Bear in mind this is just how I'd do it, as I do like this figure.

I might try a different set if arms, as those to me are just very POTF2-ish.  I would try using more parts from existing newer Jedi figures.  Really that's the only thing I might change, and maybe add just a bit of a wash or dry brush to bring out more details,

Fun to see a Bith Jedi though, and this is nice work.

Cool Jedi and interesting backstory.   :)
What is that base figure?  The arms look strange (not bad-strange, but strange as in I've never seen them before).  The figure looks nice and clean, great paint apps.  I agree with CHEWIE that some drybrushing would make the figure look even better, however as he is now he would fit in perfectly with the hasbro Jedis (I tend to like clean paint apps).

Nice job on the Bly Squad also.  The weathering looks good, especially on the shoulder pauldrons.
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

The base figure was a combination of mace windu ep1 (waist down) and cantina band member (waist up)  8) I  would dry brush him, but i wanted to go for a more "out of the package" hasbro figure look.   :)

Honestly, I hate the design... but you did a great paint job.  I hope that makes sense and don't think I'm dissing your work, because I'm not.  There are some designs I just don't like, but you did very well on painting it.

CM's Commander Gree!!!!
« Reply #70 on: January 23, 2006, 05:14 PM »
Well it's been a while since i've shown off one of my customs. Mostly, because i've been parts hunting , but anyways here's what i did with an extra ROTS evolutions trooper from the Grey set.

I know this guy has (and clones in general) been done to death, but there is my rendition as the Hasbro Gree just doesnt make the cut for me. Any Questions or Comments are welcome as always.

Let me take this time to advertise that I REALLY NEED  [color:"red"]BARC TROOPER PACK INS!!!!! [/color]   okay im done  :p

 ;D Cool man!
I am astonished by your customs!
They looks so down right cool!
I like the feature of the removable helmet and I think that most clone troopers should have had that done to them.

Whoa.  That is insane that your Commander Gree is about 1000x better than Hasbro's version.

I really have to learn how to do these things.
If you vote for me all of your wildest dreams will come true.  Thank you.
