It's ok Valin, just doing the mod gig is all...  :)  I'll include some more Evolutions shots just to give everyone a collecting woody before bedtime.

What is this "bedtime" concept you speak of?? ;D

But seriously, thanks for posting those!

Lovely BFG on the sandtrooper.

I think I will pass on the Sith set entirely. I already have a zillion Mauls; I have an AOTC Dooku and will get my hands on the ROTS version sometime in the not-too-distant future; and that Palpatine looks kinda constipated :-X plus the smothering softgoods robe doesn't do much for me.

Super articulation is, usually, my definitive figure so the Sith set's a no-brainer to me, however it still looks to be the weakest set.

Anything Vader is hot right now so the Anakin set has that going for it...  The Clone set's easily the hottest set (I really hope that E2 Clone's just a white SA Clone though, and that is just a mock-up), but Anakin's pretty spiffy too.  They'll go fast at first I think.

The Sith set's not bad...  I'll take a SA Maul and hopefully I can fit a non-grimaced head onto him.  The Palpy I like because a softgoods Palpy was needed, I just can't recall if he had multiple heads.  I hope so.  The Dooku's the guy that a lot will simply say they have the ROTS figure and not find him appealing.  He looks better, but not a TON better.  ROTS was a damn nice figure of him.

As I mention before, I hadn't noticed the Gunner body on the clone trooper varient. Now I don't know how to feel about it. In the very least, I hope they're ball jointed elbows.

The Gunner body is just being used on the white variant E2 Clone, correct? Not the regular yellow one?

Man, I didn't realize that either.  The elbows look like swivel joints to me  :-\

This is for the people who think I never have anything positive to say.  :P

I just got the Evolutions Anakin to Vader set a few hours ago at the local K-Mart, and I have to say that, without a doubt, this is easily the nicest and best multipack Hasbro has ever done, and it basically nullifies any need for a future single carded Anakin or Vader to be done again.  They might not be perfect, but they're really close to being so.

The only "bad" points are the lack of ball-jointed elbows on ROTS Anakin and the lack of a 2-stage removable helmet on Vader.  The former isn't so bad to me, since the way the arm cuts are made, you can still get his arms completely straight or at an angle; the latter is the only thing that I believe could possibly have been improved upon in this set.  Oh, and the lack of a Vader lightsaber hilt to go on his belt.  But other than that, I LOVE THIS SET.  Way to go Hasbro!

Did I just say that out loud?  :o

Seriously, if you're sitting on the fence about this, do yourself a favor and buy it.  It's already at the top of my list for the best action figure so far this year (well, figureS), and if this is the level of quality the Clone (AT-TE body notwithstanding) and Sith sets will have, then I'm even more psyched than before. :)

I've got it ordered on Amazon.  Along with some clone sets.  And some Unleashed ::)

They're hitting.  Just went to my local K-Mart and counted 6 of the Anakins on the shelf.  Price $21.99.  They also had the Battle Packs at the same price.  The set is A+ all the way.

I picked one up today too. I must have been too picky, but a lot of the sets had either too much lipstick on AOTC Anakin or a receding hairline on ROTS Anakin.

Eventually I found one that met my standards and I brought it home. Nice work, Hasbro. Too bad these things won't last. Good stuff from Hasbro never does.  :(

Well been messing with these about a 1/2 hour now.  The AOTC Anakin is okay.  The ROTS Anakin is awesome and the Vader is best yet.  Still looking for something I dont like about it.  Great neutral and action poses.  The RH is really good and gives a great likeness of the actual scene.  Will be hard to improve this fig in this scale.

I got one today as well and I'm psyched.

Since no one else is bitching I will:

I'm glad Vader has ball jointed elbows, but wish his helmet stayed on a little better. My biggest issue:
