I didn't read through this entire thread, so sorry if this has already been discussed... but why on earth would they give the Episode 3 version of Anakin some nice boots with ankle articulation but not use the same boots on the Episode 2 version? He's wearing the same goddamn boots for ****'s sake.

Senseless.

What price have these been selling for (WM, TRU, etc) in the US?

From what I've seen with the Anakin sets, here's a breakdown of retail pricepoints (at least in my area) -

Walmart - $19.54
Target - $19.99
Kmart - $24.49
TRU - haven't seen them there

Here's what I found for Clone and Sith in Utah:

Walmart: $19.76
TRU $19.99
Target $19.99

At Kmart I have only seen the Anakin. It was $21.99.

And since this is at the top I thought I'd reiterate that I have STILL yet to see ANY Evoulution set on the shelves.  Not one.  Not even Anakin who I know hit at KM's here but I never saw.

Killin' me here...  Just killin' me.  All the best stuff is always nye on impossible to find for me.  I gotta get my sets of these and soon or I'm gonna burst a blood vessel.

That's why I preordered the clone evo set from EE with a buddy of mine. I guess its 4 sets in total, so we both get 2. Jesse, so far I'e only seen the anakin set once. Are you still looking for it? I could keep an eye out for it if you're still looking for it.

I've seen all three sets around here a few times. They go pretty quickly. I skipped the sith lord set. It just didn't appeal to me.

The Anakin sets were here a couple of weeks ago, and have since disappeared.  No sign of the Clone or Sith sets, and I'm starting to get tempted to look online for the Clone one.  I have it "preordered" through Amazon, but we all know how that goes :).

The Anakin set is the only set that I've seen more than once, and even it doesn't show up all that often in my area.

Wal-Mart is the only place that has gotten the Anakin set on a semi-regular basis, and it's one of those "one day and gone" items to say the least.  Target got one case of the Anakin set and has never restocked (par for the Target course around here) Evolutions at all.  K-Mart got the one case of Anakins back at the very beginning and since then nothing at all.

TRU.com is pretty much useless at this point for preordering anything from the SW line, I think.  After my Unleashed fiasco and Obi-Wan JSF debacle with them, and the fact that the Anakin set is still "not yet released" after two months or so at retail, I'm not going to be preordering anything from them anytime soon.

Has there been any recent information/updates on the variant Clone Evolutions set (boxed photos, overseas "leaks", release timetables, etc)?
