Just saw this on auction. Opening bid $399.99, BIN of $899.98.

A little pricey I would say.

Uh, yeah. Just a tad.

What I find interesting is, I remember this particular seller selling a case of the same thing back when they were first given away at TRU. Now how in the heck does someone go about getting multiple cases of a supposed store exclusive freebie.

It's definitely a bit pricey, but it's a very cool auction and I'd love to have that box of figures.

There was a discussion of just this sort of auction (case of silver R2) at RS back when this figure first came out.  I recall it coming up for auction on ebay, cheaper than this, but not enough so it sold.  Wonder if it's the same seller.  TRU employee?

The person probably does work at TRU.

I seem to recall an auction like this being stopped BEFORE they first came out.

I'd say it's at least a FORMER TRU employee.
