Very nice, has a good stealthy look to it, almost sleeker than the silver was.
Can't wait to see the finished version!

Also I don't remember that joe ship, hasbro was good back in the day...

Well, I really haven't made much in the way of props for stuff like this.  But I do intend to!  Then I'll post some pics.

Back in the day when Hasbro was producing 7 foot Aircraft Carriers and Space Shuttles with launch facilities, you mean?

Those were the days. Now we can't even get a Sith Infiltrator out of them...

WOW!  Very ambitious project and it looks great so far.  I agree that some weathering would look nice as well as some new weapons (maybe under the nose?).  I can't wait to see the final pics!

Very nice, the only control panel that I made was done out of index cards and a ZEST soap box (and Niub Niub's labels).
I forgot how cool Playmobile stuff was, I'll have to dig out my old sets ... if I can find 'em...

I've got one of those shuttles (don't know which one) and plan on making a cargo ship out of it. It's got all the parts except the two outside wings, so it's pretty cool. One thing I would like to do is replace the wheels with skid plates like most SW vehicles use. Anybody tried that?

I've started my first customized figure, and need some product info. I've cut the arm off a figure and glued it in a new position. What's most appropriate to use to fill in the resulting gaps? Sculpy or what?

Try Sculpy, as it should do the deed.

I'd try an arts and crafts store, like Michaels.

If it's a really small hole you can usually use wood putty too.  I've done that a couple of times.

I use Games Workshop brand 2-part putty (aka "green stuff" and "Kneadite").  I love it - it's a lot tougher than sculpey (at least in my experience) and it air dries so you don't need to cure it in boiling water or anything.
