The Falcons are on the way! Check your order status ;)

Mine says it shipped the 25th, no tracking number or anything yet though, and no email from Code3 to say it shipped either

Got mine on Monday. This thing is absolutely fantastic, not to mention it weighs a ton (Id say about 30 lbs with the base). The removable pieces are cool, and the tool for removing them is handy as well. I'm very happy with it

Sounds like I'm going to need a new shelving unit for this puppy!  ;D

Well sorta good news. I just received 1 of 2 parcels. Man is that box big. Unfortunally the parcel was only the Acrylic Display Case so I should have the Falcon very soon. I'm hoping tomorrow.  :)

I did get dinged on customs on the case. Thay marked the value $25. US & I had to pay $7.37 CDN. Better than them marking it at the value they sell it for, $49.95.

I just hope the the Falcon is marked way less than the actual cost!  :-\

I went over to the Code 3 offices and warehouse today to pick up my Falcon (a little late).  Haven't opened it yet, but damn are the two boxes big, and the one with the Falcon HEAVY!

I chatted briefly with one of their reps who helped me lug the stuff out to my car, and the only info I managed to squeeze out of him, was that he expected the X-Wings to be ready to ship sometime in NOVEMBER!!  He said they're just about all ready to go.  I find that a little hard to believe personally, especially after the rep at the Comic Con said the Falcon would for sure be the only set for this year.

Of course I pryed a little further and asked the fella what's on tap next, after the X-Wing, and he gave me the expected answer "I have no idea".  To which I retorted, "Yes you do.  Now make a fanboy's day and 'fess up!"  Needless to say, he didn't bite.  He said they've secured a number of different ship licenses, so it could be any one of those, and that he honestly didn't know.

So if he's actually telling the truth, the X-Wing's going to hit much sooner than expected, but then there might be a bit of a lull in the process since the next ship has yet to be chosen.  Or perhaps they've already built a number of different prototypes, and just haven't decided which one's next up for the manufacturing process...

Sounds like most of the "non-modelers" are really enjoying this piece so far.  Adam, any more to say on it?  :-*

Have there been any pictures of the X-Wing by chance?  I didn't see any on Code 3's website.

That's pretty cool, but I don't know if it's worth that kind of money though.  I'm sure I would say that differently if I had one in my hands.

OK, it has arrived. Holy crap! That was one heck of a heavy box & that's because they packed the bottom of the base with the Falcon!

Very nice packing job I must say.  8)  I did get dinged on customs as I feared. $32.97 CDN for a grand custom total for both boxes, $40.34 CDN or $29.99 US!  :'(

I took a few quick pictures & back in the box it goes till I can find a place to display it.  ;D  Mine also reads #00128 of 10,000.

So far I am impressed with the Falcon.  8)

Code 3 has released pictures of the new X-Wing.

X-Wing Starfighter

This will have removable & movable panels to expose detail of the hyperdrive, proton torpedoes cockpit area.

No price has been mentioned thus far & no other details. By looking at the photos, this one does nothing for me. Looks more like a toy than a diecast replica . Me thinks I will pass!

That X-Wing looks sweet.  I still don't know if I would want to pay that much for that and the Millennium Falcon though.  I'm sure if I saw one in person and was able to hold it in my hands, it would be a different story.
