that's a nice QGJ you made chewie, an alternate more casual head would be awesome though

Damn mate that poster looks grrrreat I'm thinking of doing a photo novel but can't decide on whether it should be a Star Wars one or Star Trek but until I decide which one your PN are always an inspiration.

QUI GON JINN- is excellent the whole figure looks anatomically correct he looks slim and tall and great use of parts I'm going to have to have ago at this figure for sure.

How come we never did get a SA qui-gon? This one will definately do in a pinch. I even have all the parts you used to make my own. Did you repaint the head? It looks different somehow.

Chewie - I never commented on your Qui-Gonn - He looks great!   I'm not sure that we are often creative enough to do these "relatively" simple customs.  This example, along with the SA EPII Obi-wan that I've seen people do are such good examples of simple but very effective customs!  (Keep in mind "simple" is a relative term depending on your level of customizing experience).

I'm planning on using the Sora Bulq/Kit Fisto recipe on another Jedi I'm planning.  I may have to change up my plans to not "copy" you too much (even though I was already planning it).

CHEWIE, your Qui-Gon Jinn is awesome! It's one of those figures that I would buy without hesitation if Hasbro would made it! Way to go, CHEWIE!  ;D

Thanks guys, I'm still looking through parts for a second Qui Gon head.   :-\

Quick question... which photnovel pic format do you prefer?

:-\ Er, bigger w/ better detail vs. very cool widescreen?

Dang, C, that's a tough one! ???  Both definitely have their qualities - but I guess my vote goes with better detail... for now...

Very cool Qui Gon, btw! I'm a sucker for the action poses when it comes to jedi. Just makes 'em look like they're kickin' some a55...  ;D

I prefer the letterbox as it gives more of "cinema" feel.  However, I've struggled with the proper balance for image size.  So my suggestion is letterbox but big enough to see the details  :P

Thanks for the feedback guys... with that 3rd suggestion, now there may be 3 options...

Thoughts?  And thanks again, I want to make the appearance as appealing as possible.

Option 3, Chewie. Man, I can't wait to see the "Special Edition"s.  :P

I love the Qui Gon, he really looks like he's throwing down. Why Hasbro hasn't done an updated Qui-Gon I'll never know. It looks great as is, but if it were mine, I'd have to make the boots accurate...I am way too OCD to leave them as is, but that's me.

If you do ever switch them out I'd suggest using the ones from the Opee Qui-Gon creature set, for the ankle articulation.

Well, since they are " Special Edition" I say go with the Widescreen letterboxed version.
