Hey! Weather those blasters, soldier. They look like they're fresh from the factory!

That's an order! ;)

I like the before and after with the effects. Very cool. Are those model railroad cliff sides?

That's a good idea Famine.  The rifle is actually weathered some, but the smaller blaster isn't.  I haven't weathered too many weapons yet, but I know that I should.  It's good for the effects and gives a much more realistic look.

The background cliffs were purchased at Michael's several years ago.  They are from some sort of Christmas sets, and were originally white (to look like snow) so I repainted them.  I have several of them.  I wish I could afford some more soon, and paint them black for Mustafar.

Wooo hooo!

I finished up #15 - Edge of Death today.  I woke up sick today and called in at work.  Slept in, woke up and still feel kinda crappy, but I was so close to being done with this one, all I had to add was the dialogue.  So it's up and complete now - check it out, let me know your thoughts.   :)

Got anything good for us lined up on the customs block?

Always.

Just kidding.  Right now I haven't got anything brewing just yet.  But I promise I'll make a custom or two this weekend, and have them posted by Monday.

Yeah, just for that, I will put off customizing until the next photonovel is done.  Just teasing.

Ok, I have to credit fellow member Talon Karde for inspiration on this one, my version of a Clone Wars Obi Wan Kenobi.

It's turned out to be one of my favorite customs I've made.

Is that a superhero showdown Dr. Doom cape?

Very well done, Chewie! I like this one a lot!

That is great! I believe that's the first custom I've seen with ball joint boil/pops. Please explain how you did that!

Thanks guys.  It's not too complex of a custom really.  Just the following parts -

- Pilot Obi Wan
- Clone #6
- Dr. Doom cape

The boil and pop method worked just as usual for this actually - I was quite surprised and happy about it.  Then I did have to drill just a bit in the "holes" in the Obi Wan's elbows and knees to get the Clone pegs to fit right.  But it wasn't too hard.  And then did some weathering and repainted the cape.

DD, I can't believe how quickly you recognized the cape.  I can't slide anything by you!   ;)

Just yesterday I was looking at that Doom figure and saying, "That'd be a keen Jedi cape..."   :P

This is one of my favorite customs you have done, Chewie. It looks really clean, factory made in fact. Can't wait to see it show up in your photonovels.

Excellent custom Justin! After seeing your's and Talon's I may have to make one myself. There are enough Pilot Obi-Wans and SA clones lying around here that I'd have no problem getting the fodder. :) I really like that cape, it is a near perfect fit for the figure, it is a bit too pre-posed but it still looks great.
