the weathering is uber cool too, chewie

Wow! I may have to use that recipe CHEWIE! Is it easier to boil and pop these pegs than the POTF2-SAGA ones? That looks really cool!

This is my favorite custom of yours as of late chewie.
While you do great stuff regularly, its mostly from your imagination, so you can relly only comment on overal out come, but being able to compare your figure againt some sort of reference
is what makes your talents more apparent. Great parts use the all fit together well, and the  weathereing is perfect in my book as far as amount.

I had thought of making an animated version... I started the head... never followed up on it though.
BUt you've inspired me to do so.

I kinda skipped over the preview pictures for part 15  because i haven't even read the last two yet. but now that its out I am going to read all 3 in a row, hopefully by the weekend.

That Obi Wan is really fantastic though. I'm surprised that Hasbro didn't amke one like that when they did the Clone Wars toyline (non animated)

A fine addition to any collection... namely yours I guess  ;D

He turned out awesome CHEWIE - nice stuff!  Talon has stumbled on to something here, I think we're all going to make a version of this guy  ;)

The weathering is perfect, as usual, and the Doom cape looks great.  I normally prefer SG capes, but that Doom cape fits the figure well.

I didn't realize that you could boil-n-pop ball-joints.  The possibilities have opened up  8)
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Ok, I have to credit fellow member Talon Karde for inspiration on this one, my version of a Clone Wars Obi Wan Kenobi.

Wow, I might just have to try this out myself.  Looks great!

Forgive my asking, but what/where is the Dr. Doom cape from?  I'm not really into the Marvel stuff, so I don't know what the deal is with the "superhero showdown" stuff.  They don't seem to have them at the local Target.

Is it an older/discontinued line or is it a new line that is pegwarming somewhere I don't know about?   :-\

Darth Delicious - Yep, the Dr. Doom cape is so awesome.  I am working on doing something with the leftover body too... might be interesting.

Ryan - You're right, the cape is kinda pre-posed... but I've lost most of my love for soft goods other than Vader's cape and the Dooku one... a Dooku cape might work too for him.  And Talon's discovery on this method should open up a whole new customizing world for us!

Lando - The boil-pop method worked extremely well and was easy on this one.  Very simple actually...

Glassman - One of the reasons I usually make fan fic stuff without reference shots is probably my inability to make things look exactly like I want them to... this one was one of the few lately that I used any reference material for.  It's not completely accurate of course, but I do like it.

Dimetrodon - Thanks buddy... and when you do get around to reading the latest photonovels, I'd love to hear your input.

Smarty - In order to get the pegs to fit, I did find it necessary to drill a little in the holes to make them slightly deeper and wider (but not much at all).  Just be careful and use a small drill bit if you try it.

Jeff - No problem - check out your local TRU - it seems to be the only place that is getting in a 3-3/4" line of Marvel figures - they are pretty new.  Very detailed stuff.  They are kinda pricey though at $7.99 each.

Here's a pic of the Doom figure -

Very nice Justin! I really like that cloak Which hood did you use? I think that the skirt shold be trimmed down so it is a bit shorter. It looked shorter in the picture. I

Chewie, that is awesome. He really does his job well, it took me a while to notice that he was a clone!! :)
He looks a little like Roth Del Masona(sp.?) from AOTC to me.
