« Reply #195 on: May 3, 2005, 06:48 PM »
Well, here's my first SIMPLE custom using a casted part. (My Bith cast.) Let me know what you think. (And feel free to suggest a name for the Jedi.)   ;D

Does he look like he's wearing lip gloss?  :-*

Yeah, mixing an matching EpIII parts is easy and fun. The Kit Fisto torso is great,  and the hands are perfectly sized for Bith. I used the Agen Kolar legs for a little variety.

Dri-gin Kaan. I like it. We'll see if anyone else has any suggestions before I make the final call.  ;)

Oh wow...That's really neat.

I like your customs a lot....it's hard to come up with different congratulations for so many though, so from now on, I shall follow this feedback system:

1=Good Job Overall
2=Hate it
3=Want to have it
4=Great Paint Aps
5=Great Imagination

For example...I
d give this one a 1 with a 5 thrown in the mix and a 4 for good measure. :)

I appreciate the feedback, guys.

Well, my buddy red5sixx (unabashed plug) hooked me up with a sweet case of EE clones this week (48 clones total!) so I figured, why not throw up a pic of a few AOTC Clone customs? Here you go:

The ARC is inspired by the Clone Wars cartoon. The jetpack clone is straight from Battlefront, although I still need to make his larger EMP rifle.

Hope you like 'em!

Nice. You gotta love SA clones. :) ;D How much were they though? if you don't mind my asking.  Cause a Case of all 16 is $120 so 48 would be 3 times that..... And just of curiosity how come you bought them through him instead of straight from EE?

I fianlly suckered in and bought a set of white ones today, I have always wanted them, just not at that price.

They customs look god, the ARC needs his boots redone but other than that they look fantastic!!! :)

Good Lord - 48 of them?  I think I'm gonna faint!

Wow - that ARC looks really tough - I feel like I'm watching a Clone Wars movie.   :)

My favorite though is the Jet Trooper - really sharp and clean looking.

 :P

SLC- I got the clones through red5sixx because they were cheaper that way, and I didn't have to pay shipping. He's a wholesaler, so he gets a discount from EE then passed the savings along. Now he's had to reorder though, and they were more expensive the second time around, so the prices are changing. The EE clones are getting snapped up fast, so I *highly* recommend at least buying a set now if you're planning on it, because they're not going to be around much longer, and they're only going to get more expensive.

Don't be jealous, though, SLC. I can pretty much guarantee you have more in your wallet than I do right now.  ;)

I get most of my custom fodder from red5sixx because he's always taking in new collections and piecing them out, so you can find some great stuff at reasonable prices.

Chewie- Yup, 48. And considering I already had 14 SA Clones, and a ton of the 3-pack troop builders, and some clones from the CW Value Packs, my grand army is set.  ;D

I think this "army builder" obsession came from only having two stormtroopers as a child. And one's arm was broken. :(

Let's see.... $2 in the Wallet, $22.78 in the bank, only one regular SA clone, and only 4 EE clones coming...... Yup I'm jealous. ;) Stupid college, takes all my money. What the heck am I ever going to need scool for. :P ;) 8)
