I posted on this elsewhere, but that's some wonderful work, especially in its concept.  It's a great idea.  Blind Jedi just seem to work, especially given the blast shield training.  It almost seems that a Jedi would want a blindfold (even if not blind) to increase their Force focus.

Again, great work (especially on the sculpt of the blindfold)!

Pretty damn cool! I hate to just echo others, but I gotta vote for the blindfold. And, as always, I really dig the Samurai-Starwars connection...  ;D

Cool Eeth coth, too bad he died during geonosis.
His gunship exploded on screen too.  :P
This is a nice custom though, it looks great.

I don't see any mention of his death in the Star Wars Databank... where did you get that info from, CC?

A PN on this could be very short or very, very long. It depends on where you want to pick up the story. I'd love to see what you can do with it.

This is one of the coolest Jedi Customs I've seen.  The blind fold really works on this guy.  I agree with everyone's assement that it wouldn't surprise me if Jedi trained with blindfolds all the time.

Did you post a full recipe?

I'd love to see the blinded Eeth Koth in action!

Wow! The blind Jedi Samurai.  ;D
Excellent just excellent. I've wanted to do something with that Qui-Gon body for a while now, Its just too sweet of a sculpt to waste. The addition of the articulated limbs and the clone armor really make this figure work. I really like this one.

I think it was mentioned in an old issue of Insider.
They said he died during the explosion.

That's probably one of the best Clone Wars Jedi I've ever seen. I say keep the red ribbon, it really adds contrast to the gray and white. The color choice and the shoulderpads are really awesome, as well as the clone shins and gauntlets. He really looks good.

Well, the Insider has also reported K'kruhk dying on Hypori and Captain Ordo's name as "Fordo," so I'm going to take that info with a grain of salt and say as far as I'm concerned he made it.  :P

Thanks for the feedback, everyone, I appreciate it. As it stands I think the blindfold will stay red for now as most seem to like the contrast. I really do think a short story with the blind Eeth Koth would be a lot of fun...I think I'll start outlining the story this week.

Due to work and various home projects I haven't had much time for customizing...most of what I've been working on is only half-complete at this point...but here's one I finished up today.

Before the game designers heard Lucas' plans to vary up the clone legions in ROTS, the Commandos were basically going to be in all-white armor, so that's what I did here. It's as if this guy has just been issued his armor and hasn't personalized it yet. I've done the lightest bit of weathering, but I'm unsure whether I want to add more or leave him clean. What do you guys think?

Oh, and unlike Commandos you get from those HASBRO brands...mine can kneel.  ;D

DD -

I *LOVE* the solid white, and the subtle weathering makes him look very realistic. I'd say give him a weapon or two and call him complete.

Bravo!

I like the white a lot better DD.  In fact I just finished up a similar one that I'll post soon.  You did an excellent job on this, I love it!

The White commando looks great DD. Some commandos actually wear white armor so I think that some weathering could work just fine. The knees are great and make this figure 10x better than Hasbro's. It is always good to see your updates. :)

He looks great DD.  I like the white so much better than the paint scheme of the scorch figure.   The added articulation is a great touch.
