Very nice! :D  What kind of paints did you use? and how did you apply them?(brush, masking, spray?)  Also, how did you accomplish the "weathered/ battered" look on the paint?

Very nice customs.  I really dig the special ops...

I wonder, if anyone here read the EIII novel it said...

SPOILER

"thousands of clone troopers" were with Anakin when he raided the temple.  Were they all special ops with the blue paint?

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*

I think they're on Kashyykk, but don't quote me on that. It may also be Saluecami with Quinlan Vos. (Assuming that scene makes the final cut.)

Famine: Finally, I have granted your wish. The Green and yellow clone are complete.  ;)

DualSaberMaster: I masked some of the larger areas with tape, but that only works so well because the paint bleeds underneath and makes a mess. So basically, you have to go back with an exacto and make adjustments by scraping away the excess once it's dry. Dame with the battle damage to the paint, I just scrape it with an exacto when it's finished, taking special note around the edges and other high points of the armor that would show wear first.

As for the "dirtying up," I just dry brush certain areas with black, sometimes grinding and smearing it into the surface with a finger. Again, I pay attention to the points real armor would dirty up first.

All paint I use is Tamiya acrylics.

WOLVERIIIIIINES!!!

SPOILER

It made the comic version.

Are all the clones with Anakin in the temple raid the blue special op type?

Famine: Quin's apparently in the comic version of ROTS, and I can confirm he turned up in at least one draft of Lucasfilm's script that my company got. However, I didn't see him in any of the screencaps we recieved, but then, that doesn't mean anything. We were missing some shots here and there.

I'll be damned.  I have never seen a better job on painting straight lines and fine details.  This is an area I seem to have a disability with.

Awesome job... if you feel crazy, you should make a couple more blue ones and recreate the scene of Anakin marching into the temple.

If I didn't feel crazy BEFORE attempting that, I'd definitely be crazy afterward!

Still, I probably SHOULD do a few more blue ones... ;)

Wow!  It looks great!

The scar looks awesome, and you did a very good job on the sword.  He looks like he has survived many battles with the Trandoshan Slavers over the decades.

Thanks, man!

The scar looks even better in person...it looks really nasty and deep. It loses a lot with the camera flash.

I didn't have any good teal-colored paint, or I would have tarnished his sword a bit more. Maybe I'll do a custom disembowled Trandoshan to lie at his feet. :D
