Figures:  $102.01
Misc:       $  43.37
Prop:      $525.00  :o

Total for January:  $670.38.

Not too bad really.  If Obi-Wan's saber had shipped in 2005, I'd be sitting pretty right now.  I'm not expecting much prop movement for a while so I should be doing ok until spring.

I'm keeping my totals again this year.  It's gone from a "challenge" to a real tradition.  The only difference is, I'm going to add descriptions of everything I buy and why I bought it.  I started that midway last year, but I used to just put in stores and amounts.

The problem with America is stupidity I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself

Oh for crying out loud.  I managed to spend almost $700 in January.  And February is not going to be pretty with my Sideshow Vader on its way and a number of other online purchases coming.   ::)

Adds up quick doesn't it?

It's the online orders that kill me, my Hoth case from New Force shipped the same day as my EE.com Astromechs!

When I get the CC bill, it always knocks me to the floor...

Let's see...

January = $354.99

Stuff I bought:
- 400% Kubrick Han, Luke, Boba Fett, and Batman
- Carded Kubrick Droids R2-D2 w/Acrylic Case
- 2006 Saga Hoth Wave (9 carded and 6 openers)

I managed to offset the cost by selling some of the extra stuff in my "for sale" list, so that helped get the total for the month down a bit.

I'm still working on that.  I've got a few extras from the 3 3/4" line, but they're all very common, so they don't exactly fly out the door.  However, there's a line or two I'm considering selling, so that could help with next month.

$598.72, the majority of which was spent on a complete series 5 Kubrick set and the chase Indy.  That doesn't include the nearly $60 each for the 4 Sideshow 12" figs or the $60 or so for the EE astro droids.  Ouch.
Common sense isn't so common

Well, my attempt at cutting the monthly spending in half didn't go quite as well as I had hoped...but still better than last year.  Here's what it looked like for January:

8 TSC Figures (Han, Chewie, Veers, Derlin, 2x AT-AT, Snowtrooper, Power Droid)=$50
Hoth Bust Ups - Set of 6=$28
2 Sets Galactic Heroes=$10
"Other" Stuff=$15

Total for January=$103.00

Not quite where I wanted to be, as I was hoping to average $50 per month this year (wishful thinking).  If this continues, I really might have to consider dropping things like the Bust Ups and some "other" stuff, or at least cutting back significantly.
