This pic is kind of a tease as it doesn't really show the exposed chest, but I'm lovin him.

iFett, do you have a comparison pic with the original G1 Soundwave? The new one look smaller to me...

My tattered vintage one is in storage and I can't seem to yield a pic on the net.

From what I heard, Hasbro/Takara lost/broke the mold to him back in the 80's/90's.  Then they got there hands on a vintage Soundwave to re-cast the molds for Takara's original Soundwave reissue and for Soundblaster a few years back.  The TRU reissue is based off of Soundblaster's mold (he's a black Soundwave with a double tape deck)  I'm not sure where he played a roll in the TF Universe, but I assume it was the Japanese series.

Case in point: he may be a bit smaller, but not by much if he is.

I have an old one on display that I could take a few shots of, though it won't help with your size question.  :-\

Found a new promo code for Hasbro Toy Shop- BDLSP7

It's good for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more, and works with the current sale they have on some stuff like Transformers.

I just purchased a G1 Jetfire from another MN Collector (Darth Vlad) and it didn't come with the directions for transforming it. Does anyone on here have a set of directions that they could photocopy for me and e-mail to me?

Thanks

Ryan

Dude, it's not that hard - the only difficult part I can see you having would be with the chest plate/head area.  My instructions are packed away in storage and I'm not sure where to find a set online.  Wait till our next SW meeting if you're in fear of breaking him - if you can wait that long.  I can even show you how to put him in gerwalk mode  ;)

Looks like the last two Alternators - Ravage & Rumble are set to be released within the next few weeks, and you know what the ****** part is??

That's right...They're going to be Wal-Mart exclusives.  Such a shame as I was actually looking forward to these guys.

**** you Wal-Mart!   >:(

...and I have no idea what the hell happend with the Devastor giftset...

I've heard that the Devastator set is due in two weeks. It's supposed to be a featured item for week 10, and they're on week 8 or 9 right now.

I don't like the fact that those two Alts are WM exclusives. My local WMs don't even carry Alts, and while one briefly did, it didn't last long.

Those last two alts look crappy anyway.  I'm going to skip them.

By the way, I have an old 80's Devastator complete if anyone's interested in it...

Just a heads-up that the Devastator sets are starting to trickle out.  I saw four of them on the shelf of a semi-local Wal-Mart earlier this morning, but only at one store, so be on the lookout.

I ended up not buying it because I'd spent way too much money this morning on toys and couldn't justify another thirty bucks at the time.  It still looked okay, though, so I'll grab it when it hits locally.

Can anyone give me the list of all the cassettes that were made for Soundwave beyond Rumble, Frenzy, Lazerbeeck, and Ravage?
