Dang, that sucks. The toy looks great, just I'll never own it.  :(

I'm curious about something. I know Master Collector of GI Joe infamy offers Joe exclusives every year, and they're not made by Hasbro. They only lease the molds to MC who makes the toys, hence the high price on those. Is that the same kind of deal with Botcon and Hasbro? I find it hard to believe Hasbro would be so daft to offer these only there at Botcon. I know they make some dumb decisions, but this just seems out of their league in stupidity.

I found the the preview Protoform Optimus Prime and Starscream at Wal-Mart yesterday. I was briefly tempted to get Prime, but changed my mind. I'm definitely going back to get Rumble and Ravage, though.

What I meant was - I'd like to pick up a Starscream and Ramjet and paint them into the remaining three seekers..

They look bad IMO....and they're not exclusives

Agreed.  How amazing - they transform from fairly uncool looking robots into a metal comet.  Wow.  I'm really dissapointed that the movie robots don't look more like the toy/comic versions of the characters.  :-\

These toys represent their "protoform" configurations. Once they "scan" our Earthly vehicles, their robot and vehicle modes will appear different from these raw modes.

Kind of makes me wonder what "Earthly" vehicles some of the Decepticons scanned though....

Don't you throw a spoiler out there Jay!

Any chance GNT will be made in the movie line?

I know, but they still look pretty rediculous IMO.  Guess I'm too nostalgic for the old school G1 characters... :-\
