I saw this on a big, dumb-ass, black Humvee while driving around over the weekend.  And being the Star Wars geek I am, and having a SW-themed personalized plate of my own, I immediately wondered if the driver was a fellow fan.  We all know Wedge, but the 2 following it is what really made me wonder (2 being Wedge's callsign or whatever).

And for what it's worth, I didn't get a look at the driver, so I couldn't tell if they would have fit with the average SW-fan demographics (male, between 16-50 years of age, wearing Yoda ears hat, no females in car).

What do you guys think?

I'm gonna go with yes and say it's Wedge being Rogue 2 as per Luke's spot on the Rogues...

Or someone who's into giving or receiving the dreaded Wedgie...  What the 2 could signify then, that's anyone's guess.

Doing a quick Google search, there are 11 million wedge references. Although it's probable that it's a SW reference, Wedge is a propper last name (Chris Wedge - animation director, Ice Age) and it could be tied into a family or family business.

BTW, what's your licence plate Bill?

I have a good freind who has "AT ST" on his plate, but what's strange is that he's a good looking guy with a drop-dead gorgeous girlfriend. Also, a bit of trivia, both of the comic relief guys in the early days of the Power Rangers (Bulk and Skull, played by the highly under rated Paul Shrader and Jason Narvy) were big SW geeks and one of them named their older red Toyota Camery Red 5. It was stenciled on the side of his car and I think he had his plate personalized Red 5 as well.

Oh, if you don't mind, I'd rather not say.

Although, I will admit that Red 5 was my first choice back in the day, but to my chagrine, it was taken, so I had to go with my backup:  KNEESA.

(Damn.)

Do you mean Kneesa as in the Kenner plush doll Kneesa?

No.  The Kneesa I'm talking about, whose name I have proudly displayed on my license plate, was Chief Chirpa's daughter, and Wicket W. Warrick's best friend and love interest.  Then they married, and when her father died, Wicket inherited her father's throne, and Kneesa took her rightful place at his side, hereby becoming Queen of the Ewoks.

So I think that she's quite a bit more than just some "plush doll."

I'd say your mystery man is more of a golfer than a SW fan

Dale speaketh the truth!

I'm guessing that doesn't fit on a license plate, however.

Alright, so I didn't know there was an extra A on the end of the name.  Happy now?  Jesus ******* Christ.

And no, seven characters would fit just fine on a license plate, thankyouverymuch.
