Cool, Jeff.  The day will be here before you know it.

A suggestion if I may - buy (or ask) for bigger clothes than the tag says.  The boys will grow out them so quick that sometimes they'll only get to wear the outfit once (or not at all).

Common sense isn't so common

The nursery looks very nice and the rocker looks extremely comfy!!  Glad to hear everything is going good.

Just remember Jeff, whatever she asks for, regardless of time of day, she gets. You are not allowed to be too tired. Ever.

I'm sure that applied from "I do"  :-*

Glad to hear that mom and the babies are healthy and doing well. :)  The nursery looks great.  We did stripes in our first born's nursery.  After swearing he'd never do that again, my husband ended up taping off 64 diamonds in our daughter's nursery....

Hmm, a dad going out of his way for a daughter, whoulda thunk it?

So Jeff -- how is everyone doing?  Is mama hanging in there?  You guys must be getting kind of close to the window for twins.  Please let us know how its going. :)

D'oh!  Must have missed your question Tracy, sorry.   :-[

Today is the start of week 34 (so, 33weeks, 1day).  Next Tuesday is the first big target date.  Her doctor would really like to make it to the 36 week date, but if we make it past 34 weeks, we can deliver at the local Hospital without transferring to a NICU specialty hospital.

It's really hard to believe that we are only 2-4 weeks away from the end now.   :o

Kirstin is now at home because her doctor recommended bed-rest to avoid a few complications (swelling/edema).  Otherwise, both her and the boys are doing well.  The boys are growing at a pretty good clip too.  According to the ultrasound measurements last week, they are both around 5.5 pounds, which puts them in the about the 85th percentile for growth for twins.   :)

And a nursery update...

Still not finished, but the stuff that is left is "menial" stuff - buy a rug, new overhead light fixture, new light switch plate, new outlet plates (and covers), and new phone jack (the old one is broken, you can see it dangling from the wall in photo #4) and a few other miscellaneous things here and there.

We've got everything pretty much set now in the boys room.  Over the last month, we...

- bought a rug for the floor (room has pergo flooring and the floor gets cold in the winter)
- installed the new overhead light fixture, new phone jack, and new outlets (and covers)
- set up changing table with baskets/etc.
- set up a dresser/closet for baby clothes
- washed about 100 loads of baby clothes, sheets, blankets, toys, etc (from various sources - showers, garage sales, hand-me-downs)

And a naming update...

The naming process is moving along as well... we're close on one name and stuck on the second.   :-\  Still have time to figure it out though...

We've finalized one name and are getting really close on the second one...  :)

I can imagine you're nervous right about now Jeff. :)  Have fun in the anticipation of your grand army if you're able to amidst all the anxiety.

And you can use it with my blessing, a fine choice. :-*

Jeff -- I'm glad to hear that Kirstin and the babies are doing well.  Bed rest can be rough -- but she should enjoy it while she can :)  Enjoy this time together.  I hope that everyone continues to do well and stays healthy.

Thanks for the update, Jeff. I'm excited for you and Kirsten, it was great meeting her last time I was in the Cities! Looking forward to the pics.

The doc I told you guys about at Abbot's NICU was Rob Payne in the event that that info is needed.
